Jena Sims covers her butt with a bow at the SI Swimsuit party, the NFL saves it from Romo and is Star Wars dead?

We succeeded. We did it. Another week in the books. LIBS allowed us to access it another one Friday, too another one big weekend. We won…again!

And now, we ride. Mid-May weekend. We are officially halfway through the month. It’s hard to believe, but this time next week we will be preparing for Memorial Day weekend. The (invalid) start of summer. Wasn’t it just January? Thank goodness it’s gone. The winter is bad. Spring is very limited. This is summer the original the beginning of the year. Let’s roll.

Welcome to Friday Nightcaps – the one where Jena Sims wraps herself up as Brooks Koepka tries to stay in contention for the PGA Championship. He should be in good shape after this!

What else? I got the best of what’s left of this full week of #content, Shane Lowry had KUSASA in Philly and the NFL did us a big favor this year with the release of the schedule. You will see.

Thank you, Goodell!

Get yourself a pizza National Pizza Party Day, and stay tuned for Friday ‘Cap!

Jena Sims is ready for Brooks to come out

I have nothing to say about the pizza. I know I usually serve some kind of hot food here, but I don’t really have one about pizza.

It’s delicious. Everyone loves it. A bad slice of pizza is better than 99% of other things in this world. It’s like golf. A bad round of golf – and most of them – is better than a good day elsewhere.

Personally, my perfect slice includes sausage peppers and bananas, but I wouldn’t even attempt a Mount Rushmore here. It’s very consistent. I will say, people who use napkins to soak up oil before eating it are crazy. My wife is one of them, of course. It’s tiring. We are better than that.

You are already eating PIZZA. What are you trying to accomplish with that move? Burn a few extra calories? It’s like people who order french fries instead of french fries every now and then because they’re trying to be healthy. A little cutesy for me. Let’s do like the Americans.

Now, let’s get the class started … with Brooks Koepka’s wife, Jena Sims, wearing a full CLINIC to the SI Swimsuit launch party!

Such a week of content!

Big week for Sports Illustrated. We messed them up a lot for years because they woke up. If we are going to criticize them, we should applaud them when they do something right.

To SI’s credit, they seem to be righting the ship. Hilary Duff. Sophie Cunningham. Jenna Sims. Olivia Dunne. It’s never too late to make amends, folks. This is a good lesson for everyone.

It’s good to see Jena Sims back in the chair. Also, it’s good to see Brooks Koepka competing again in a major tournament. The win is coming. I can feel it in my bones.

Speaking of which, let’s get to the best #content from the big week. We’ll go ahead and start on Aronimink!

No more Romo slobbering, Star Wars is dead and what’s the best time for an NFL game?

Another solid week. The internet never stops. It’s a 24/7/365 machine, and you guys have delivered. Good work.

A few thoughts…

  1. This PGA player who was late for his time yesterday is sweet. “It’s not my job to be 10 minutes early” is one of the dumbest quotes I’ve ever heard from a professional, after he told Marty Smith that “one second is hard to define.” No, it’s not. It is literally the easiest thing in the world to explain. Amazing.
  2. I’d love to show the actual video of Shane’s shank in the water, but the dictators who run the PGA Tour have already pulled all the videos online because they’re really intolerable.
  3. I have long believed that Will Ferrell is not funny. He spent it alone The office.
  4. I called the Chiefs video number that was released. Good. I may be out of released videos, though. This one by Matt Ryan got me, though:

4 NFL TEAMS TO INVEST AND SHORT THE PLAYBOOKS AFTER THE 2026 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE IS RELEASED

Good stuff.

Speaking of the Falcons, let’s fast forward this Friday class to a big weekend for the rookies. First? Where have we come to this?

As a Dolphins fan, I can guarantee the NFL will regret putting Tua in the starting lineup three times this coming season. That will be a disaster.

NATIONAL NFL SCHEDULE IS VERY COMPLETE MAKES REDZONE AND SUNDAY SUNDAY TICKET ESSENTIAL

But that is not my point here. What I really want to ask you class is … what is your ideal starting time for your NFL team?

My Dolphins have no early games this season because they will probably be bad, but I’m fine with it. In fact, I’m much better for it. I choose it.

For me, the best time to start is 1 pm on Sundays. That is the highest NFL football. I want my team to play in the 1 pm window every week. Naturally, the Dolphins started this year with a 4:25 streak, which is pretty bad.

So that’s your homework for the weekend — what’s the proper start time for an NFL game? Let me know!

While we may all differ on that, here is one thing we can all 100000% agree on:

YES! The NFL has finally released the obligatory Mahomes/Allen matchup on CBS and Tony Romo. Thank God. What a blessing.

For years we’ve been forced to listen to Tony Romo nonchalantly for two straight hours. It hurts. It is unbearable.

Not so anymore! That’s good news. Bad news?

NO!!!!! From Romo to Collinsworth! What a tragedy. Put on a curve in that booth, Tirico! There will be discomfort.

Finally, on the way out…anyone excited for this new Star Wars movie coming out next week? The early reviews are in, and, generally, they’re scary. I wrote about it this morning if you really want to get into the weeds.

But, it got me thinking, do you? know was there a new star wars movie coming out? I didn’t until a month ago.

As a 90s kid who grew up in the prime, the lack of hype surrounding this “movie” is… sad.

My God. Those were the days. Remember the old Taco Bell/KFC/Pizza Hut restaurants? Absolute empires of the ’90s and early 2000s. And they were ALL-IN-Star Wars. The new movie was their Super Bowl.

And now? Crickets. It’s sad.

Okay, that’s it for today – and this week. Good job, everyone. May is in the middle. June is fast approaching.

Have a good weekend. Let’s continue the journey and finish this month strong.

See you Monday.
