Bed Bath & Beyond is launching a coupon hunt with a $100,000 home improvement prize

Bed Bath & Beyond is giving its iconic green coupon a second life — and shoppers who hold onto one can get cash back.
The company recently announced a nationwide “Fantastic Coupon Hunt” to find America’s oldest Bed & Beyond coupon, while offering customers a shot at a $100,000 home makeover.
Through July 13, shoppers can bring any Bed Bath & Beyond coupon to participating Bed Bath & Beyond + The Container Store and Kirkland Home stores nationwide.

Bed Bath & Beyond said the campaign is designed to send Americans searching through kitchen cabinets, glove compartments, attics, basements and old scrapbooks for their coupons.
“For decades, our customers have treasured these coupons,” said Amy Sullivan, president of Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc., in a statement. “They stuff them in bags, filing cabinets, cookbooks and memory boxes because they believe they will be useful one day. We think they were right.”
Sullivan added, “The Legendary Coupon Hunt is our way of celebrating the customers who helped build this brand while creating one of the largest customer events in our history.”

All coupons, including expired ones, will be honored and entered into the sweepstakes, the company said.
The grand prize winner will receive $100,000 in home makeovers using products and services from Bed Bath & Beyond, The Container Store, Kirkland’s, Lumber Liquidators and Cabinets to Go.
The company will also award $500 gift cards to 100 winners and $100 gift cards to 50 winners.
