The Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke’s Twisted Revenge Plot Against Katie!

Bold and Beautiful introduces Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) trying to do battle Forrester Creations, basically. And Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is done with her company helping to find a new designer or fashion icon to help keep Logan following Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) line of one-done couture.

And things are about to get worse. We’ll talk about whether Brooke’s sneaky move isn’t really Hope for the Future or what he really deserves. This may be jealousy of her younger sister Katie.

Katie Wants Hope to Come With Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful

Okay, so we have Katie hoping that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will come around Logan. And even though he’s not a designer, I’m sure with Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) money and Hope’s reputation in the industry, they could easily hire a designer. Also, Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) might come with him because he is so crazy this week about Hope for the Future shelving.

And Brooke doesn’t know that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is trying to seduce Hope Logan. And I’m sure Brooke will be fired if she finds out, and obviously she will at some point. But instead of just, you know, saying, “Okay, okay,” and saying, “Hope decided to screw it up.” Forrester Creations and tricked his mother into taking Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) job.”

Brooke Seducing Ridge to Get Her Way to B&B

We just saw Brooke tell Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that they should run Forrester Creations together. And Brooke reminded Ridge of all he’s done for Forrester and talked about working there longer than Steffy has been alive. That’s not really a selling point. You know, Brooke also pulled the trigger on underwear using sex as a weapon of deception. He then said that he didn’t want to put Ridge in a difficult situation, but that’s exactly what he was doing.

And Brooke tried to tell the difference only that she wouldn’t answer Steffy. Brooke said Steffy will answer them. But there is much more than just that. Because if Brooke is CEO, you know, Hope will smear her in Steffy’s face like she did when she and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) took over. Forrester Creations temporarily. Because let’s be honest, at this point, Hope is totally willing to destroy Brooke’s marriage to get what she wants. He thinks only of himself.

Themba and Katie Want Revenge on Bold

So, the main reason for doing this is that Hope wants to get revenge on Steffy for putting up the shelves Hope for the Future and a smile on his face, which was not pleasant. It wasn’t, but still. And Katie trying to find Hope is about revenge. Katie has just admitted to Donna that she is, bringing Hope to her Logan it may help his company succeed, but there is more to it. Because when Donna asked if Katie wanted revenge for Brooke repeatedly stealing from Bill, Katie said that both things could be true.

Revenge and professional success. So, we have Hope and Katie wanting revenge, but I suspect Brooke also wants revenge, and she wants it from her sister. She insulted Katie all the time, saying she stole Eric’s designs. That is not true. They get paid. Then there is Logan trademark. Bill pointed out the other day, the real world legal reality, that Forrester Creations he never had a line named Logan. So legally, Forrester had no claim on the trademark whether it expired or not. If you don’t use it, you lose it. That is trademark law in the US.

Bright and Beautiful: Brooke Wants to Steal Katie’s Fame

So, I think Brooke also noted that Katie’s launch was a smashing success. And when Brooke came to poke her after that, Katie said to Brooke, “You’re always going to be a shadow.” But there’s a new Logan in town. I am the one they will be talking about now. It was too much for Katie to say. However, Brooke had said similar things to her before, so it’s kind of tit for tat.

I think Katie’s words rubbed off on Brooke, though. Although she held that Bill had given Katie the company, at least she owned it. Katie 100% owns Logan. Meanwhile, Brooke is an employee. He earns money Forrester Creations. He may like to run The Forrester so that he can throw in Katie’s face that he is the CEO of a very large fashion house. And of course, Brooke will steal all the headlines from Katie by announcing herself as the new CEO alongside Ridge to replace Steffy. That would be big news.

Ridge Can’t Kick Steffy Alone

Brooke used all her resources to convince Ridge. And so he’s going to go talk to Steffy this week. Liam has already warned Hope that Steffy will be mad at Brooke, but Hope doesn’t care. Liam asks her to just stop this and come to Spencer, but Hope thinks Brooke will make Ridge give her what she wants. But I don’t think it will be as easy as Brooke and Hope think. Longtime viewers may remember that Ridge fired Steffy years ago because of Brooke.

Later in the day, Ridge thought Steffy leaked Brooke’s video and fired her. And it turns out that Steffy didn’t leak the video and was rehired. And the ownership of the company was different then. Meanwhile, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) had 25% of the Forrester Creations. And he turned around after Ridge pulled that guitar, shooting Steffy over Brooke’s nonsense. And Taylor gave it all to Steffy The Forrester shares.

So that put 25% in Steffy’s hands because Taylor wanted to make sure that Ridge wouldn’t take Steffy out of Forrester again. Then he got more shares from Bill. And so Steffy owns 37.5%. Forrester Creations. And Eric also owns that money. So together they got 75%. Ridge owns 20% and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) owns 5%.

Ridge repeats the same mistake in The Bold and the Beautiful

So, on his own, Ridge can’t fire Steffy as CEO and just give it to Brooke. The only way to make it happen is if Steffy voluntarily backs down, or if Eric sides with Ridge and votes to push Steffy. I wonder if Brooke will try to use her sneaky Logan mojo to get what she wants from Eric.

I know Brooke is confident she can manipulate Ridge into doing what she wants, and she might try the same thing with Eric. Now, if Donna sees what Brooke is doing, she might advise Eric to get out of it. And Donna might be upset that Brooke was trying to cheat on her husband. Actually, it didn’t go well when Ridge pushed Eric out Forrester Creations, and it looks like Ridge is teetering on the edge of repeating that same mistake with Steffy this time Bold and Beautiful.

In addition, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) is one of Steffy’s partners. So, if Brooke can trick these Forrester men into pushing Steffy aside, can Daphne threaten to shut down her fragrance line and pull everything and Carter come over to Steffy and Daphne’s side?

Without Eric Voting With Him, Ridge Can’t Make This Happen

And in the end, without Eric voting with him, Ridge just can’t make this happen. And there’s no way Steffy is going to come out willingly. And, he has to turn around and tell Ridge, “Look, the timing of all this is very suspicious. Hope for the Future in open a location for Eric’s couture line and suddenly Brooke is looking for a CEO. I mean, hey, it didn’t happen.”

I’d like to see Ridge go back and ask Brooke if Hope asked her to do this because it’s definitely about Hope, but I think about Brooke, it’s also about Steffy slapping Hope aside and hitting Katie because she’s jealous of her little sister who has a fashion house.

So, we’ll see if Hope’s devious plan works. He’s already fired up Brooke to make this power play and it could destroy Forrester. It could destroy Ridge and Brooke’s marriage after this. I mean, honestly, Katie shouldn’t be looking for Hope Logan because this is the kind of selfish chaos he brings wherever he goes.

If Steffy finds out that Hope pushed Brooke to do this, she might fire Hope by starting another coup. I would actually like to see Steffy fire Hope. As for Brooke, she’s asking for something after teasing Katie about Bill giving her Logan and it seems like there’s a lot of hypocrisy and revenge going on, but I’m here for it.
