Days of Our Lives is surprised as Tate Black (Leo Howard) wants to take down Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) once and for all. Little does Tate know, Sophia just isn’t her usual kind of nut right now. He also conspired to kill Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) in cold blood.
So, the question is, can one tiny fingerprint help Tate foil Sophia’s attempt to kill Johnny? We know that Tate can’t wait to put Sophia in jail or re-enter The Bayview where he belongs. So, let’s dive in.
Tate Wants Sophia Behind the Bar in Days of Our Lives
Not long ago, Tate told his dad that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) needed help to get wisdom from Sophia to nail her to switch pills. So Brady gave Tate very specific instructions on how to fix the soda bottle so he could get Sophia’s fingerprints on it without anyone else.
That’s how Brady and the police can have it compared to those in Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) supplement bottle. So, Tate was able to get Sophia’s prints on the bottle, but so far Brady tells Tate they haven’t gotten any results. It’s crazy because they have technology now where you can digitally scan fingerprints at a crime scene for instant ID, but it’s Salem, so you know, we have ’90s technology.
Tate hopes that Sophia will not get away with what she did and will be arrested for poisoning Holly. And I hope Sophia gets sent to Statesville next time because she’s just a thug. And he’s had it with Holly since high school. But you understand what’s going on there because Tate was secretly in love with Holly while publicly acting like he was in love with Sophia. He even asked her to the prom. And honestly, Tate and Holly really used Sophia and Aaron Green (Louis Tomeo) to sneak up behind their parents and hurt them both.
Sophia Went Big On DOOL
So, all that being said, nothing Holly and Tate do justifies the super shady stuff Sophia pulls. From a fake baby belly to fake adoption papers and sending those dirty pictures of Holly to Johnny, just to name a few crimes. Holly wasn’t even safe from Sophia while she was inside The Bayview.
Because that’s where Holly’s former best friend found a bottle of supplements and switched vitamins for her mental meds. That action by Sophia led Holly to just walk out in the end. And then Sophia planned to continue because she sent another bottle of modified supplements for Holly to continue unpacking. And in the end, Sophia could have done a lot of long-term damage to Holly with this terrible act.

But as usual, Sophia doesn’t care when she causes harm to anyone else. Of course, Tate is mad because Holly was drunk. And then Tate himself found himself drunk again. Even worse, her little sister Rachel Black (Lorelie Olivia Mote)
the wound is reversed The Bayview. And that’s because he was the first suspect in the change of supplements. So understandably, Tate is impatient with Sophia. And this week, Tate met Sophia in the square, and told her not to go with Holly anyway. And Sophia, of course, played the victim card, and told Tate that Holly was spreading lies about her Salem University the compass. I mean, if anything, you might be spreading the truth, right?
And Sophia then said that Holly said she wanted him dead. So, we could see that Tate was skeptical. He doesn’t believe what Sophia said. And Tate made it clear that regardless of what Holly said or didn’t say, Sophia needs to leave Holly alone. But Sophia doesn’t seem scared. And of course, Tate doesn’t know that his younger sister Rachel’s mother, the evil Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) has ordered Sophia to kill Johnny.
Kristen Wants Revenge On EJ
This is about Kristen seeking revenge on EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) because he still blames her brother for sending Rachel The Bayview. Kristen actually puts the full blame on EJ for her shooting because he kidnapped her mother, Rachel Blake (Ros Gentle). However, Kristen could have hidden her mother instead of agreeing to leave her in Salem to testify against EJ. There were options that could have prevented all of this from happening, but you know, Kristen’s nuttier than pecan pie.
So, we might see Brady get the results of Sophia’s fingerprint scan soon. And I think at this point, Tate might be watching over Sophia. I saw Tate following Sophia in her free time to make sure she stayed away from Holly. And Tate can do that, you know, until they find evidence to convict Sophia. But at the same time, the clock is running out on Johnny because Kristen wants Sophia to do a quick, quiet job ASAP without a fuss.
Kristen Decided To Destroy EJ On Days Of Our Lives
So, Kristen called out Sophia this week after she gave Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) that awkward advantage to help bring EJ down. Basically, it looks like Kristen is trying to make deals all over Salem with everyone. He wants to make sure EJ goes down and he won’t stop. And of course, that’s what killing Johnny is all about for Kristen’s twisted mind. Rachel is there The Bayview means EJ’s son needs to die.
Kristen Does Specials All Over Salem
So, Kristen teams up with Xander to help destroy EJ. And of course, she doesn’t care about the guy and more about taking down DiMera, Kristen might not care about it at this point. In addition, he also promised Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to help him take down EJ, not knowing that Rafe already had this double-dealing investigation done by his brother.
Then after plotting with Xander, we saw Kristen call Sophia and Kristen told her that she has to take care of Johnny the next day because Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) is busy all day. Sophia tried to say she wasn’t ready yet, but Kristen wasn’t listening. And he asked Sophia to kill the gun without emotion and said, “Make it clean and fast.”
Can Tate Stop Killing in Days?
But I think Kristen is overestimating the college killer she hired. Because let’s be real, while Sophia has done bad things before, mostly lying and cheating and, you know, wrong things. He never tried to kill anyone with blood.
Therefore, it could be his anxiety about killing Johnny that foils the murder plan that Kristen concocted. Or maybe Tate is stepping in. You know, even if the fingerprint data comes in and they can arrest Sophia. That will definitely stop the assassination attempt. Or maybe Tate is keeping an eye on Sophia and sees her hiding and getting ready to do something bad to Johnny and intervenes.
Days of Our Lives: Sophia Takes a Shot?
So, Tate can stop the genius Sophia from killing Johnny just out of dumb luck if she follows him around watching for suspicious behavior. But since Sophia is really afraid of Kristen and scared that she will do something bad to her because Rachel has been returned to her. The Bayview because of the supplement stunt that Sophia did, I think she will have to at least try to kill Johnny.
And finally, Carson Boatman should not be out Days of Our Lives until the end of this year. If you remember, she and Raven Bowens, who plays Chanel, and Leo Howard, who plays Tate, and Ashley Puzemis, who plays Holly, were all fired when they came back from their vacation in January, which is kind of an unpleasant holiday gift, right? It’s not a Christmas bonus if you get a pink slip.
So, regardless of what happens with this, Johnny also won’t die because Tate distracts Sophia or messes up when he tries to get her out. He chickened out. In the end, I think Johnny will live to fight another day. However, Kristen can just tell Sophia to try, try again.
