Days of Our Lives: Johnny and Chanel Both Face Death – Shocking Bombshell Drop!

Days of Our Lives teases Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) may soon enter another dark season in their lives. Johnny doesn’t know, but he is marked for death. Meanwhile, Chanel is pregnant and there’s another health issue coming up that doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the pregnancy.

I wonder what these two stories will be that bring Johnny and Chanel out Days of Our Lives only once, maybe in body bags.

Kristen Plans to Kill Johnny

So, for now we know that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is planning with Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) to destroy EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and their plan is completely diabolical. Kristen said they were going to kill Johnny. That’s right. Kristen wants Sophia to kill her nephew Johnny to get back at her brother EJ. And that’s because Kristen blames EJ for Rachel shooting her.

Because EJ hid his grandmother Rachel Blake. And in Kristen’s twisted mind, Rachel is locked up in Bayview because of EJ. She is not aware of the negative influence she has on her daughter. I think you are to blame for all of this. But Kristen thinks EJ needs to lose his son Johnny because he lost his daughter Rachel, who is still back in Bayview.

Days of Our Lives: Sophia and Kristen Dream Team?

But Kristen wants to leave EJ heartbroken forever. And Kristen is counting on how much Sophia hates Johnny because of the whole adoption mess. So for that reason, Sophia is the perfect partner in crime for crazy Kristen. Lucky for her, the steadfast Sophia agreed to the warning that she should also take down Holly Jonas because Sophia will not stop hating her. And he insisted that Kristen give more resources to get revenge on Holly’s plan.

And I knew Kristen hated EJ, but I mean, wow, right? That Sophia, who is the mother of Johnny’s adopted child, kills him in revenge is a strange thing. That’s a new low, even for Kristen, who took drugs and raped a pastor. I mean, that’s on the list of worst things Kristen has ever done in her life. Eric’s attack was terrible.

And I’m sure if EJ knew about this plot that Kristen is cooking up, he’d be more than willing for Kristen to follow him and leave Johnny alone. Now EJ knows that Kristen hates him, but I don’t think it’s in his bingo card that he would kill his only son. But Kristen decided that the sins of the father lie with the son and thinks that Johnny should pay the price for EJ’s actions. And Sophia may have it in her mind that if Johnny is dead, somehow Trey may be taken from Chanel. Or Sophia might plan to kidnap Trey and run away after killing Johnny because that girl is crazy. And Sophia is a very willing participant in Kristen’s evil plan.

How Will Sophia Try To Kill Johnny?

So, I am curious to know the method of their madness and how Sophia and Kristen will try to kill Johnny. So, Kristen and Sophia might stage Johnny’s death to look like a horrible accident, say, a car accident. Maybe Sophia cuts Johnny’s brake line so he can run off the road and crash. Or Kristen might get an invisible poison from Dr. Rolf that Sophia can get into Johnny’s drink at the bar.

Sophia might decide to get involved and brutal and, you know, violently stab Johnny when he’s home alone or on the streets of Salem one night, pretending to break in, you know. Or because Rachel was sent back to Bayview to accidentally shoot EJ, maybe Kristen will ask Sophia to shoot Johnny. Kristen might want to drop some sort of hint for EJ that Johnny’s death is his fault.

And of course, Kristen wants Sophia to do the deed, not because Kristen can’t, but I think this is about having an airtight alibi for Johnny’s death. He might make sure he is with EJ during the murder. That way you’ll think, “Oh, Kristen was with me.” But EJ is not dumb.

Chanel’s Health Crisis

So now, let’s talk about Chanel. Johnny and Chanel are already worried because Sophia has left Bayview and is at her mother Amy Choi’s house, so she is local. Johnny and Chanel know they have to be very careful. We have been hearing rumors for some time that there may be another murder mystery in Salem. Now, that could be Johnny’s death or his attempted murder. And of course Chanel looks like she has a serious health problem brewing.

She was already at risk of cancer before she got pregnant, but Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) assured Chanel that everything was fine. Then this week, when Johnny and Chanel were getting close, Johnny felt a lump in one of Chanel’s breasts. And at first, she was angry and frustrated because Johnny is so worried about her in this pregnancy. Chanel just wants Johnny to enjoy his pregnancy and be happy. And he insists that he is, but he also knows that Chanel has serious health issues that cannot be ignored.

Days of Our Lives: Pregnancy Problems?

And when he hears the lump that Johnny hears, he’s going to be worried. I mean, we already know that Chanel has a high risk of cancer. And he told Johnny that he was going to talk to his OB about the breast lump. Also, breast tissue changes during pregnancy, and your breasts actually become lumpy, especially when you start making milk.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. And Chanel and Johnny, of course, both hope the bump isn’t a joke. But if there’s anything to worry about, Chanel’s pregnancy could make treating the illness more difficult. I think Sarah will be able to get a biopsy and they may be able to do a lumpectomy. But anything else like radiation or chemotherapy cannot be done while a woman is pregnant.

And Johnny might get upset and demand that Chanel abort the pregnancy for cancer treatment if the lump is a serious health risk. Remember, Johnny was already thinking how dangerous it was when he first showed up pregnant. So, that will come straight back to his mind. But even if Johnny begged her to do it, I don’t think Chanel could do it. I think if she has cancer she can just carry on with the pregnancy to full term, which will allow it to spread to the point where she’s probably putting her life at risk.

Are Johnny and Chanel dating?

Now, I just want to say that I’m not trying to be all doom and gloom about Johnny and Chanel, but there’s good reason to think that things might turn around for them. Because when Carson Boatman and Raven Bowens, who play Johnny and Chanel, return Days of Our Lives in January after their Christmas break, they both found out they were fired from their jobs like Johnny and Chanel.

And a few other actors were also axed, namely Ashley Puzemis and Leo Howard who played Holly and Tate. They were also released. And during their shooting, Days it was filming 9 to 10 months before, and they may have done more scenes for them after they came back in January. So, we were seeing them stick around until the end of October, November, maybe until the holidays, but they’re leaving.

So, are the writers setting up a double death for Johnny and Chanel? Will Sophia kill Johnny and Chanel will die of breast cancer? I mean it hurts to think about it because they have a step son, a baby on the way. Or Sophia could try to kill Johnny and wake up, you know, injured and in a long-term coma and come out like that when Chanel’s cancer kills her.

However, I will say that EJ could stop them both if he could. I mean it’s a bad idea, but after the last day I think it was Thursday’s episode Days with Johnny finding Chanel’s breast lump and Kristen ordering Sophia to kill Johnny, things could get very dangerous soon.
