LeAnn Rimes Reschedules More Concerts Amid Health Issues

This is Ann Rimes he revealed that he had to reschedule some concerts due to his ongoing health problems.

“After following up with my doctor, he strongly advised me to take another week off while I heal from this illness,” the singer, 43, wrote on his Instagram Story on Tuesday, May 12. “This sadly means I will no longer be able to play this weekend in Washington and Wilmington.”

Rimes explained that the games were not canceled but postponed. The Washington DC show is now scheduled for August 15, and Wilmington, Delaware will be held on August 16. Tickets for the first date will remain valid. Refunds are available if the new dates are not available.

The Grammy winner added that she’s “excited” to see fans in those new days while focusing on getting better for now.

“I’m looking forward to being healthy and back on stage, I miss you!” Rimes continued. “See you in August!”

This is the third time Rimes has rescheduled her shows due to health reasons. Last month, Rimes revealed that she was battling a “serious illness” and was unable to walk or sing.

“I’m really sad that I have to reschedule and I’m so grateful for your kindness and continued support as I recover,” she wrote on her Instagram Story in April. “I’m looking forward to getting back on stage and seeing you soon.”

Days later, Rimes shared that she unfortunately had to reschedule several concert dates as her illness worsened.

“After being diagnosed with covid leading to a severe bout of laryngitis, I am very sorry to have to reschedule next week’s shows,” he wrote on his Instagram story in May. “A visit to my doctor to find out the range of my voice confirmed the news and I wanted to tell you as soon as possible.”

Rimes added that “it breaks my heart, that I have to organize these games.”

Later that month, Rimes gave fans her take on a home remedy for her throat problems.

“After taking antibiotics, I’m trying to heal thrush in my throat and acid reflux … dear lord help me,” she wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a photo of herself holding a clear drink on ice. “Sunshine, down [and] coconut water and aloe juice with fresh rosemary from our backyard.”
