The Young and the Restless Next Week: Nikki’s Big Trouble & Chelsea’s Mind!

The Young and the Restless spoilers for next week, include Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) with a shocking health issue and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) being brainwashed by a request that comes out of left field.

Nikki Newman’s Health Crisis on the Young and the Restless

Okay, first, let’s talk about Mrs. Nikki Newman. So, at the end of this week, he had a nightmare when he fell asleep in his room at the place. GCAC. He dreamed that Nick had died from an overdose. And honestly, he was clinically dead for a minute or two there. But Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) drag Nick back from the brink of death.

But all this stress does nothing for Nikki, and she rushes to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) house to check on Nick after his latest binge. Nikki thinks Nick should still be in the hospital. Adam thinks his brother should be in rehab.

And Victor agreed. But Nick is furious with Matt and wants him punished. So, Nikki is there and sees Nick’s angry reaction when he finds out that he would have been dead as a doornail if not for Matt and Phyllis saving his life.

And of course, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Victor, and others still hate Matt and Phyllis for other things they have done. But in the end, they are all very thankful that Nick is still with them because of these two criminals. And Nikki is happy that Nick is alive regardless of who saves him. But on the other hand, he is disgusted and keeps talking about Matt.

Nikki thinks Nick needs to prioritize cleanliness. And Victor finally says he’ll let Nick see Matt if he agrees to go to rehab after confronting him. And Nick agrees after suffering amnesia that prevents them from closing.

Nick Struggles With His Addiction on Y&R

Speaking about Nick almost dying again, writer Josh Griffith recently said, “Surprisingly, this is not a strong foundation for Nick. Josh Griffith said that Nick does not have an epiphany where he will miraculously change his life. And Josh Griffith also said that even if Nick faces his problem, that does not mean that he will overcome it, which is interesting because in the real world it is not an easy thing.

Therefore, the author said that Joshua Morrow’s character will receive treatment for his addiction. But there will be stumbling blocks ahead. However, she said that Nick was affected by this latest drug and it reminded him that life is fragile and the Newmans were also affected by watching him overdose and die. Then come right back.

Even worse, it’s all thanks to Matt and Phyllis that he’s alive. The author said that some of the family will be angry with Nick for letting things get to this point. But the silver lining is that Adam and Nick will grow closer and become meaningful brothers in the end.

The boys take Nick to rehab while Nikki’s headache returns. It’s the end of the week and Sharon Newman (Sharon’s Case) brings up that headache and Phyllis shows up and Nikki thanks her for saving Nick despite all the bad things Phyllis has done to them lately.

Then it comes in The Young and the Restless spoilers for next week, we’ll see if Nikki still has a really bad headache. She tells Victoria that she’s had headaches like this before and that her doctor will say it’s just a symptom of her MS. Nikki says her daughter is already taking medication for her MS. But Victoria wonders if it could be something more serious. And it might be.

I think something big is going to happen to Nikki to change the dynamic between her and Victor and force her to realize that she has to stop acting like this. I think Nick is almost dead and is starting to sway Victor to maybe have a little more sense where his family is concerned.

Adam Plays Sally Stories on Y&R

Meanwhile, this week we saw that Adam didn’t take it well when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) told him that he and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) were engaged, building a life together, all that. But what really hit Adam was when Billy dropped the baby bomb, that Sally was pregnant. And how happy they are. Adam is sure that Billy will screw things up and hurt Sally and he will be a bad father. And when Adam told Chelsea that Billy said they were engaged and pregnant, Chelsea understood that Adam was the reason he and Sally lost their daughter, Ava.

But Adam starts acting next week, as the headwriter warned in a recent interview, when he said that Adam will have an inappropriate reaction to Sally’s news and Adam basically feels the need to protect Sally and her unborn child even though it is very clear that that is not Adam’s responsibility.

So, the surprise starts the week of June 1 when he talks to Chelsea and says they did a great job raising Connor. Adam then asked Chelsea if she had ever thought about having another child. And what comes out of Adam’s mouth will drop Chelsea’s jaws. Apparently, Adam’s sudden interest in having another child with Chelsea is about discovering that Sally is pregnant with Billy’s child. I don’t think Chelsea will have a good reaction to Adam’s question. And knowing Chelsea, she’s going to confront Adam about her being jealous of Billy and basically trying to recap what they did in that other relationship.

Dr. Stephanie Simmons Lives in Genoa City

Also, we have big news about Holden Novak’s (Nathan Owens) mother, Dr. Stephanie Simmons. Next week, he tells Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that his board of directors Genoa City Memorial Hospital called him about their search for a new officer. And Stephanie says someone put her name in the hat. And Nate says he did it.

Now, we know Vivica Fox was going to stick around, so this twist makes perfect sense. It’s too bad and we won’t be able to keep Shemar Moore around as Malcolm Winters for much longer. But we can expect to see more of Stephanie and her and Holden and his girlfriend Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin).

Lily And Cane Work Together For The Young And The Restless

Also, there are some new spoilers about what’s next for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). brand new The Young and the Restless Information says that Billy receives a critical piece of information and from there Cane and Lily work together to try to stop Billy from going after what he really wants.

So, the two things we know she wants him to leave alone are getting revenge on Victor and getting his hands on it Councillor. These spoilers are for June in scope. We don’t have specific dates. But we do know that Jill Abbott is in Genoa City later in June. But she will be played by recast actress Lauren Koslow). So, I’m surprised when Billy finds out that Victor has promised Councillor to Lily and didn’t bring it because Jill might come back to make sure Victor keeps his word and give it to Lily.

And of course, he wants it to end up in the hands of Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) instead of Billy finding a way to get it into his hands. Chancellor is to Billy what fentanyl is to Nick, something they are both deeply addicted to.
