Simone Biles he didn’t have time for people to ask why he was invited Taylor Swift again Travis Kelcea luxurious wedding.
The Olympic gymnast, 29, celebrated that she and her husband, an NFL star Jonathan Owenswere among the many celebrities who attended the wedding of Swift, 36, and Kelce at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, July 3.
“A perfect love story, followed by a beautiful nightTT,” she wrote along with a carousel of night photos.
One Instagram user had a question about how she got the invite, asking in the comments section, “When did Simone Biles and Taylor Swift talk?
Biles was quick to shut down the speculation, replying, “Remember this, I’m only showing you what I want you to know.”
The Olympian previously confirmed that she wore a red and metallic haute couture dress by DO LONG and Maison Spoiled High Jewelry to the wedding on Friday.
“What a night ❤️ We are so grateful to be able to see such a beautiful event with so many amazing people,” she wrote on Instagram on Sunday, July 5. “We love to celebrate love, a night we will never forget 🤞🏽 Congratulations to the couple!!! #T&T.”
The pair’s longtime friendship actually dates back to a decade when the “I Knew It, I Knew It” singer publicly supported the Team USA gymnastics team during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. Biles returned the favor by singing Swift’s “…Are You Ready?” during the 2024 Olympic trials.
When Biles withdrew from several events at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Swift narrated a video tribute to Biles, sung in her song “This Is Me Trying.”

Despite her longtime friendship with Swift, Biles isn’t shy about defending herself when fans cross personal boundaries. Shortly after recovering from a recent health scare, Biles corrected fans asking why she decided to go on vacation so soon.
“This comment actually makes me sad. A little over two weeks ago, I experienced a medical emergency that could have ended very differently, and this trip has been part of allowing me to heal and enjoy being here,” Biles explained earlier this month.
He continued, “I hope you understand that life changing experiences can change your perspective. And that you are able to extend more kindness to others moving forward 😘 have a great day!”
