The prices of bitcoin and ethereum are falling this morning and have been lower since the end of the Fed meeting last week. The view following last week’s two-day meeting is that the possibility of rate cuts this year has opened up the possibility that at least one rate increase is expected in the coming months.
High interest rates can put downward pressure on crypto prices because investors are moving into high-yielding assets, and low borrowing costs mean there is less money available.

What is Ethereum and how does it work?
Ethereum is a blockchain, while ether is the cryptocurrency that runs on it. When people say they’re “buying ethereum,” they’re usually buying ETH — the digital asset used to run apps and store value.
Some investors trade short-term, others accumulate their capital gradually, and others focus on getting a yield by staking their ETH to help run the network – a process known as staking.
How to buy Ethereum
