Mullin says Homeland Security, the Army Department is investigating Singham’s network in the USA

The Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense have joined further investigations of affiliates in a network of non-profit groups funded by Shanghai-based American Marxist technologist Neville Roy Singham, who is suspected of sowing discord in the US, Fox News Digital said.
The growing investigation now includes several Trump administration agencies examining the coordination, financing and online organization of insurgent groups and non-profit organizations allegedly tied to Singham’s network, which investigators blame for creating tension in the United States.
Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin told Fox News Digital that he is working with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Treasury Secretary Scott Besent and intelligence agencies to find the inner workings of organizations “trying to stir up disaffection.”
Mullin spoke exclusively to Fox News Digital after the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid in Manassas, Virginia, last week.

Mullin said the organizations were coordinating their work using online channels. Anti-ICE agitators used the encrypted messaging app Signal to stage anti-ICE protests in Minneapolis, Minnesota, earlier this year.
“We know there’s a concerted effort to stir up discontent online, through online processes,” Mullin explained. “This is something we’re talking about with Scott Bessent. This is something we’re talking about with Secretary Hegseth. We’re talking about it. You know, our directors and our intelligence agencies are always talking about it.”
A Fox News Digital investigation peeled back the layers of the network of nonprofit organizations into which Singham invested $278 million, funding six 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) nonprofits that spread Chinese Communist Party propaganda.

As reported, the Treasury, State and Justice departments are investigating Singham’s network for allegations of financial impropriety, foreign influence and other improprieties. Mullin’s statement is the first time it has been revealed that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Defense are also involved in the investigation.
DHS agents are no strangers to Singham’s network, as many have come face-to-face with whistleblowers backed by various Singham-backed organizations over the past year. The campaign called “ICE Out of New York” resides at the People’s Forum, a nonprofit funded by Singham, and regularly holds volunteer meetings at the nonprofit’s headquarters in W. 37th Street in Midtown Manhattan and is coordinating with the group to organize protests.
Singh gave $22.44 million to the People’s Forum, a 501(c)(3) that recently dropped $5.15 million for a new headquarters in Manhattan.

The Party for Socialism and Liberation, a self-described Marxist organization backed by Singham’s network, has also played a key role in previous anti-police and anti-ice protests.
When asked about Beijing’s influence on the US, Mullin compared the actions of actors supporting the Chinese Communist Party to those of Joseph Stalin, the former general secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
“You’re going back to Stalin, who was right for this, so you’re going to destroy America from the inside,” Mullin told Fox News Digital. “You are exacerbating that by causing distrust in your government, dissatisfaction in the streets, distrust between the law enforcement and the public, breaking up families and following the Christian idea. All this was part of their strategy from the beginning.”

The DHS secretary explained that it is an attempt to influence and destroy America from within, and that the US has been fighting communist enemies from within its borders for years.
Mullin said the key to combating propaganda comes from raising public awareness of negative outside influence. He explained that he believes “our enemies” who promote communism and speak out against ICE are accelerating a “hardline agenda” supported by Democrats.
“The American public, it’s 80 percent of the story. They want a secure border,” Mullin told Fox News Digital. “They want criminals off our streets. Unfortunately, 20% of the Democrats are joining this tyrannical program run by our enemies.”

Protesters took to the streets to fight the agents, and federal agents killed protesters Renee Good and Alex Pretti in what the agency described as obstruction of justice.
After Good’s death, many organizations within Singham’s network took immediate action to combat the unrest. Many call themselves Marxist-Leninists, including the ANSWER Coalition, the People’s Forum, the Party for Socialism and Liberation and BreakThrough News.
Encrypted Signal communications, command and control agencies, rapid response propaganda and tear gas clashes with DHS operatives helped rally forces and manipulate public opinion in Minneapolis at the time.

While Mullin did not lead DHS during the protests, he acknowledged the clear cooperation during an interview with Fox News Digital last week, but noted that violent protests and organized chaos do not affect the department’s ability to fulfill its commitment to border and homeland security.
“It doesn’t stop our men and women here on the streets from doing their job,” explained Mullin. “Thank you, these guys, they didn’t sign up for fame or glory, they signed up because they want to get criminals off our streets, regardless of what’s happening on the Internet, or even if far left Democrats want to criticize these people for simply enforcing laws passed by Congress.”
