Montel Williams Makes Strange Comments About Ex Kamala Harris

Former talk show host Montel Williams talks about her past love affair with the former Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris.
“I’m one of those guys that I don’t kiss and tell,” Williams, 70, said during a Monday, July 6, appearance on the “On Par With Maury Povich” podcast. “Who he dated 30, 40 years ago doesn’t matter.”
Williams and Harris, 61, dated briefly in the early 2000s when Harris worked as a San Francisco city attorney. By then, Williams had become a household name thanks to his eponymous talk show, which aired from 1991 to 2008.
Photos of the couple making a rare red carpet appearance together at the 2001 Race to Erase Multiple Sclerosis in Los Angeles surfaced in 2020 after Harris was named vice president following the November 2020 presidential election.
“It was crazy. It was really crazy,” Williams said of seeing photos of her and Harris resurface. “I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ But you know, you can’t erase your past. You accept your past.”
Williams also weighed in on Harris’ 2024 presidential bid, saying he feels he will lose the current presidential election. Donald Trump. He mentioned his campaign which started four months before the election after the then President Joe Biden announced in July 2024 that he will not seek a second term.

“I didn’t think it would go well,” he said. “I think the delay in the campaign was what really hurt him. I think there were a lot of misconceptions about who he was, who he is. One of the smartest people I think I’ve ever met in my life. I commend him for that.”
“You did a good job [as president]? Undoubtedly,” said Williams, “But I think the circumstances and the timing were bad.”
According to Williams, one of the reasons why Harris lost is that he does not see that the American people are ready to vote for a woman as president.
“People can be mad at me all they want. Anyone out there who thinks America is going to elect a woman in the next four or five years is crazy,” he said. “I don’t care what woman you are. I’m just going to say that. And you know, maybe that makes people angry. I don’t care if you get angry. I don’t think America is ready for that.”
Harris married a lawyer Doug Emhoff61, in August 2014 and is a stepmother to his two children, a son Cole31, and a daughter Come on27.
