Mattea Conforti’s Testament Tells of a Shocking Death Before the Last

Testaments took a big turn with a shocking death just before the end of the season.
On the Wednesday, May 20, episode of the Hulu show, Agnes (Chase the Infiniti) opened for Beka (Mattea Conforti) about how his friend’s father abused the girls who came to him for dental treatment. Becka was so upset by this incident that she killed her father, came to Agnes’s house and was eventually taken by Meso.
“I remember having a lot of conversations about how I should lead and that’s the kind of transition that Becka went through mentally,” Conforti, 19, said to herself. Us Weekly.
Conforti revealed how he dealt with this series, adding, “The way I interpreted it is that he has entered this world where he has been told that he does not belong here because he feels differently.
The actress saw this time as “a divine call to reason and righteousness.”
“It’s an act of justice for him, if you like,” explained Conforti. “You think, ‘This is my time, this is my time to show why I am part of this country and how I fit into it.’ So you think you’re doing the right thing.”
He continued: “Agnes is also there.
Before entering the second half of the season, Conforti built a background for Becka.
“Her family life and home and lifestyle – in that sense – is very different from other girls. Her father is not a very strong commander. He’s actually a dentist. So he doesn’t feel like – at least the way I interpret it – there’s a sense of order that he needs to keep in his house all the time,” she commented. “He doesn’t really need to watch his words or express much about his fears about marriage and meeting these senior leaders.
Becka’s supportive family is what makes her decision so surprising.
“He had a free space to be alone and let him be careful when he’s at home,” he continued. “I think that is what makes finding this news painful and makes him sad because his father was in this role that many fathers cannot be for their children.”
It was important for Conforti to invest in who Becka is, telling us, “She’s a complex, very complex character. She has a lot of layers to her. … She’s a character that I feel like a lot of audience members can relate to. I really wanted to make sure that I accurately portrayed a character that would resonate with a lot of our viewers.”
Testaments airs Wednesdays on Hulu.
