Former Child Actor Blake Garrett’s Cause of Death Revealed

Former child actor Blake GarrettThe official cause of death has been released.
According to documents from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Tulsa, Oklahoma obtained by Us Weekly on Monday, July 13, Garrett’s probable cause of death was listed as acute fentanyl poisoning. His death was ruled an accident.
The summary report also stated that Garrett was living in a condo in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the time of his death.
Garrett’s mother, Carol, confirmed to TMZ in February that How Do Fried Worms Eat? the actor had died. He was 33 years old. Carol told the agency that Garrett visited a Tulsa emergency room one week before his unexpected death. Garrett experienced “excruciating pain” before later being diagnosed with shingles, in each area.
According to Carol, Garrett moved to Tulsa to focus on his sobriety, adding that she believes her son “really turned things around.”
Garrett began acting professionally at a young age, appearing in local productions of Aladdin again His Magic Lamp again Nuts: A Charlie Brown Tribute. He later joined the touring cast Barney’s Colorful World Tour International. Garrett later made his screen debut at the age of 11 in 2004 Barney’s Colorful World, Live!direct VHS production.
Two years later, Garrett appeared in his first and only film, How Do Fried Worms Eat?as Plug, friend of class bully Joe, voiced by Adam Hicks. A children’s film also played Luke Benward, Hallie Kate Eisenberg, Kimberly Williams-Paisley again Tom Cavanagh.
“I play the bully,” Garrett said of his experience during an August 2006 interview. The Oklahoman. “But everyone came together on set.”
Garrett also reminisced about the fun on set when he and the cast rode bikes to the scene.
“There was an incident where we were riding on a dirt road until we slipped and stopped, the guys who could ride worked on that incident. They had a camera on the ground, in one incident I slipped and the dirt hit the camera,” he said. “They really liked that image, and it’s the one they used in the movie.”
Garrett’s performance at How to Eat a Fried Wormearned him the 2007 Young Artist Award. The entire cast also won Best Young Ensemble in a Feature Film that same year.
After working on this film, Garrett returned to Edmond, Oklahoma, to finish his studies at Summit Middle School. Garrett chose to live the rest of his life out of sight.
