Democrats are calling for an end to ICE as 146,000 missing children have been found

NEWNow you can listen to Fox News articles!

We learned from the Department of Homeland Security last week that since President Donald Trump took office, 146,000 children from other countries went missing during the Biden administration. But instead of celebrating, Democrats want to cut funding to programs that rescue these children.

Democrats across the country are calling for an end to ICE, the very same Immigration, Customs and Enforcement agency that plays a key role in finding missing children, many of whom have been trafficked and abused, and by the way, there are at least 150,000 others still missing.

Health and Human Services data shows a backlog of more than 65,000 uninvestigated reports of child trafficking.

To get an idea of the scale here, 150,000 is about the population of Charleston, SC This is a total problem, unless you are a Democrat who cares more about protecting foreign criminals than saving trafficked children.

For an example of how little these Democrats care about the thousands upon thousands of missing and abused children, let’s look at what Michigan Senate-elect Abdul El-Sayed has to say about it. On Fox News Channel’s Will Cain Show, El-Sayed was asked, if his call to end ICE succeeds, who the will to enforce our nation’s democratically enacted immigration laws, including those involving child abuse. His answer was surprising: “You and I both know that immigration law is not criminal law. It’s civil law. It’s like getting a parking ticket,” El-Sayed said with a straight face.

To be clear on this, for Democrats like El-Sayed, child trafficking is like a parking ticket and the federal government should look the other way like lazy meter maids.

At first, it’s hard to understand why one of our major political parties would use a policy to end ICE as a plank in the middle when doing so is clearly bound to harm children the most. But there are at least two things that explain this inhuman violence.

First, for Democrats to even admit that tens of thousands of missing children would expose the darkness beneath the tragedy of Biden’s open borders. It wouldn’t be a good look for the group that cried out about the lies of children locked up in child care centers.

The second reason is that discussing these abused children and the institutions that often hold them in all but the state of slavery, is an affront to the Democrats’ argument that mass immigration is a good thing and opposing it would be racist.

Democrats are willing to tell us about an illegal immigrant who pays taxes and has not committed a crime, who just wants a good life in America. But they’ve been surprisingly quiet when those lax immigration policies lead to so many NFL stadiums ‘missing kids’.

Most elected Democrats seem to be of the opinion not only that ICE should not be looking into these missing and abused children, but that no one should.

TRUMP CALLS DHS, ICE TO CANCEL DETENTIONS, SAYS CRACKDOWN ‘SAVED MANY INNOCENT LIVES’

Thankfully, this is not a position the Trump administration would consider. In fact, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin made that clear this week, saying, “I don’t care who you are. I don’t care if you have kids, don’t have kids, I don’t care if you’re liberal, independent, Democrat, Republican, if you can stand up to law enforcement to go find these kids?”

Hear, hear.

In a sane world, the startling truth of Mullin’s statement would be obvious to all, but in the socialist world of New York City Mayor Zohran ‘Commie’ Mamdani and Maine senate candidate Graham ‘Nazi Tat’ Platner, these children are just an annoying thought, a speed bump on the way to change.

So far, the Trump administration and the president himself have failed to make any mistakes in finding missing children. But maybe that should change. Perhaps, while protecting the dignity and anonymity of the victims, we should be hearing their horrific stories.

Republicans need to start calling the ‘Abolish Ice’ plank of the emerging Democratic Party platform for what it really is: immigration chaos. It must be absolutely clear to the American people that the Democrats’ view requires us all to look the other way and allow children to be abused.
