Days of Our Lives Couple Moves: Which Couples Are Hot & Which Are Dead?

Days of Our Lives brings you updates on couples in Salem. And we’ll talk about who’s joining and who’s moving away because there are big shifts coming soon. We just saw EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) kiss Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), but he has an agenda.

We will also talk about Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) relationship. What is going on with his ex Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Chad DiMera and his new love. But before we get into all the happenings that come with lovers in Salem.

Okay, we’re going to rate these couples on who hits it and who lets it go.

Days of Our Lives: Romantic Turns and Love Triangles

Let’s get into it. It starts with EJ and Cat. It seemed pretty out of left field this week when she accused Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) of jealousy over the idea that she might be dating EJ. I was really confused and Rafe seemed to be too. And he told Cat that he was closing his investigation, but he seems really determined to get rid of EJ and said that since he’s the ISA, that means Rafe has no power over him. But Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) has already warned Kati not to sleep with EJ or Rafe.

Cat then goes to the DiMera mansion and tells EJ what she remembers about her recent hypnosis session. Then he kissed her. And he was actually a perfect gentleman with Kati and said she was worth the wait. So, I think EJ and Cat will hit it off, but they’ll soon call it quits when she finds out he’s been cheating on her.

Days of Our Lives: Chad’s Messy Love Life

Now, let’s talk about EJ’s younger brother, Chad, because he was interested in Cat until Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) met and wrote in his papers that Chad should never date her. And if you remember, Cat and Chad were just starting to hit it off when that happened. But because Thomas found out that he was pretending to be his late mother, Abigail, they had to stop because Chad was not going to lose his children just to keep sleeping with Cat.

Right now, Chad is with Belle and I think before long they’re going to hit it off. But I think Chad really wants to keep hitting it with Cat. But despite all the prison considerations, when Chad finds out how close Cat was to EJ while his brother was doing bad things, it’s going to hate Chad. And that means Kati may never get another chance with him.

Days of Our Lives: Brady and Sarah’s Love Story

Okay, let’s talk about Brady Black. He is in love with Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and soon they will exchange “I love you.” We also heard that Brady might propose to Sarah. Unfortunately, her heart still belongs to her ex-husband Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Right now, Brady and Sarah hit it off every time. But when she realizes that Brady has fallen hard for her while she’s still emotionally confused about her ex, I think that will be the end of that. And they stop it. Of course, Sarah has been having dreams about hitting it off with Xander again.

And speaking of her ex-husband, she hits it off with the awesome Kristen. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was also hitting it off. But now that he has found out that Xander is warming Kristen’s sheets, he is heartbroken. And she’s trying to let go and forget any feelings she has for Xander.

We have a spoiler for July that Kristen and Xander get deep into each other while plotting how to take down EJ. But it’s not too long until Xander and Kristen go from hitting it off to calling it quits because he’s still in love with Sarah.

Also, we know that Kristen will be captured for all her bad deeds. And it looks like Stacy Haiduk will be out for a while. But in the next few months, we will see Xander and Sarah on the road to reconciliation. And once they start hitting it off, they’ll get married again. And I hope they never stop it again.

Days of Our Lives: Gwen and Philip’s Rebound Romance

Now, let’s go around Gwen, who is very angry that one of her few friends in Salem, Kristen, decided to break the girl code and slept with Xander. Even worse, Kristen even told Gwen that she probably wouldn’t have slept with him if she knew how to satisfy him. I mean, that was a big ouch. So, even though Gwen and Xander were supposed to be just having fun, Kristen knew that Gwen still really loved Xander. But you know the old saying, the best way to forget one man is to get under another.

And there’s a sad hunk in Salem who could use Gwen’s attention. And of course, I’m talking about Xander’s brother, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). He is very upset that Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) conspired with Tony and disrupted his and Xander’s office.

Now, I don’t think Philip will ever forgive Gabi. Not always. And I tend to think she’ll continue to put herself in Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) orbit, even though she really hates him now. But I feel like Days of Our Lives plans to pair Gabi and Theo, they will hit it off. Meanwhile, they’ve already planned a few scenes with Gwen running into Philip.

Philip and Gwen Go Back on DOOL?

So, these look like red flags that the two are going to be in some kind of on-again, off-again romance. In fact, Xander couldn’t say anything since he and Gwen weren’t paying attention, even though he wanted more. And since Philip knows Xander slept with Kristen and is generally a hibo, I don’t think Philip will see it as a big deal if he starts hitting it off with Gwen.

And in a way, Philip and Gwen might make a good pair because they both have serious daddy issues. So, you never know that Gwen is always there, she and Philip may go from a double relationship to a real love, with real feelings because they are both kind of love hungry at this time.

Days of Our Lives: Leo and Dimitri’s wedding

Finally, we’ll get into something from the greats Days of Our Lives summer promo. So, right now we have Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) suffering from another brain injury and a serious case of boyfriend jealousy because he would really like to get back with his ex Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez). But she is very happy with her new boyfriend Gus (Michael Ocampo). If you remember, Leo rejected the hunky Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte).

And that’s because Leo wanted to pursue Javi. And then Dimitri left Salem angry after doing everything he could to make sure Javi would never give Leo a second look. But in a big promo, we know that Dimitri is back in Salem. So, in the next few weeks, we’re going to see Dimitri come back and we’re going to have Dimitri in a heated conversation at the DiMera mansion with Rafe, Leo, and Gwen.

DOOL: Rafe Tries to Make a Deal

And I think based on the location that it has something to do with EJ. We have Rafe trying to negotiate with Dimitri, but Gwen’s ex-husband doesn’t seem open to cutting a deal with Rafe. But whatever it is, it seems really important. So Leo stands up and asks Dimitri if he won’t make a deal with Rafe, will Dimitri make a deal with him instead? And we know that when Leo was helping Dimitri try to clear his name in Alamania, he kept refusing to get close because Leo still hoped he had a chance to get back together with Javi.

So, they didn’t hit it. Then Leo made it clear that they were not going to beat it. But if Javi sticks with Gus, we can see Leo using himself as a bargaining chip to get what he wants from Dimitri. So, they might as well go back to beating him before he inevitably leaves Salem and they have to give it up. That’s all. That’s our review for the couple. I hope you enjoyed it.
