Bethenny Frankel Fires Back at Dina Manzo’s Criticism

Bethenny Frankel he shot back The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Dina Manzo and his daughter, Lexi Ioannouthey accused him of not putting their mark on his latest outfit.
“I don’t usually respond to things like this but I think there’s a business lesson here,” stressed Frankel, 55, via TikTok on Saturday, May 16.
The drama started on Friday when Frankel showed off a strapless, polka dot sundress and received compliments about her black pumps. She then directed her followers to a pair from Bloomingdales ($375) “so they can look the same.”
Ioannou, 30, later revealed that she sent the pumps to Bethenny as an advertisement for her fashion brand, Nou.
“Bethenny Frankel is weird,” Ioannou said in an Instagram video on Friday. “I sent him shoes from Nou almost a year ago because I look up to him. [She is a] business woman [and from the] Bravo universe like me. “
Ioannou revealed that Frankel never tagged Nou despite wearing pumps in her social media content.
“Okay, that happens, but then he posted a video that went viral today and a bunch of people are asking where the shoes are. [from]. Instead of linking them, he linked the scammer to the company’s link,” complained Ioannou. “I think he has to find that bag somehow? So, he got free shoes from a company founded by a woman, mine, and then he made money by sending his followers elsewhere.”
Ioannou’s mother, Manzo, quoted one of Frankel’s songs The Real Housewives of New York City disputes with Ramona Singer while directing fans to buy the “real thing” at Nou.

Frankel later released a video for “Outfit of the Day” in which he credits Nou. In his response to TikTok, Frankel emphasized that his decision to connect with another seller was a common practice in social media.
“The shoes were sold out so we connected something like this because the listeners get bored if they don’t buy something,” explained Frankel. “Why do I wear something and talk about it, if they can’t buy it?”
He continued, “This woman owner decided to send a sexy video of me. Her body, her choice. I have said many times that if you send me something, I am not responsible for linking you, like, use, wear, buy, tag. I can do whatever I want.”
Frankel suggested that he is now reluctant to support Ioannou’s brand after being called out.
“There are a hundred brands that will watch this video and send him a message to tell him how many products I’m shipping,” the first. RHONY the star predicted. “How many cupcakes to sprinkle with Melissa Gorgahow many Ramy Brook dresses, how many pairs of Guess jeans. I deliver a lot of product because I’m not bull***.”
The reality TV icon argued that Ioannou’s “moaning and being a cry baby” was playing a “short game” in business.
“It means you’re not a real business person. You have a lot to learn,” Frankel quipped. “I would wear all the shoes on your site and you would sell thousands of pairs and make hundreds of thousands of dollars.”
He added, “My account. My body. My choice. If you send those shoes to my house, my shoes. You’re welcome!”
Us Weekly has reached out to representative Ioannou for comment.
