Author Says Sarah Ferguson, Diddy Be Friends With Benefits

Royal author Andrew Lowney defended his decision to share the allegations Sarah Ferguson he had a “friends with benefits” relationship with the disgraced mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

“I stand by it,” Lownie, 64, told Londoners The Times on Saturday, May 9. “Fully available to ex-employees of P Diddy and Sarah Ferguson.”

Lownie made allegations about Ferguson’s sexual relationship with Diddy in an extended version of his book. Title: The Rise and Fall of the House of York2025 who told everything that started a new round of controversy about Ferguson and her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsorcontact with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In this new paperback edition of It has a titleLownie alleges that Ferguson, 66, and Diddy, 58, met at a 2002 party hosted by an associate of Epstein’s. Ghislaine Maxwell and that they started a sexual relationship two years later. (Epstein committed suicide at age 66 in August 2019 after being convicted of sex crimes. Maxwell, 64, is serving a 20-year prison sentence following his conviction on sex-trafficking charges in 2022.)

Part of It has a title serialized in The Daily Mail said Diddy bragged to colleagues about sleeping with Ferguson and allegedly once said he “wouldn’t wait until Fergie’s daughters were grown.” (Ferguson and Mountbatten-Windsor, 66, have two daughters: Princess Beatrice,37, and Princess Eugenie35.)

The author said Ferguson introduced both of his daughters to Diddy at a weekend yacht party in 2006. (Eugenie was 16 years old at the time.)

Lownie also wrote that Ferguson and Diddy met several times in hotels in Africa and Europe, including staying once at a seven-star hotel that cost £50,000 per night.

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Diddy and Ferguson for comment.

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey after being convicted of two counts of prostitution in 2025. (He was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy to defraud following an eight-week trial.)

Lownie made a number of shocking claims about Ferguson in a hardcover edition of the It has a titleincluding that he was “obsessed” with it Kevin Costner and he had a crush on both George Clooney again Tiger Woods. (There is no suggestion that anything is going on between Ferguson and any of the three men mentioned.)

The author accused Mountbatten-Windsor of sleeping with “more than a dozen women” before she celebrated her first anniversary with Ferguson in the 1980s.

The book also explored alleged problems in Ferguson’s marriage to Mountbatten-Windsor before their 1992 split. Per Lownie, Ferguson is said to have told his friends that the then prince “wasn’t where I needed him” and “wasn’t strong enough.”
