4.24 Friday Faves – The Fitnessista

No! Happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? We have a fun NCL event and we’re heading to Vegas for the night! The last time we took the girls, P was a toddler and Liv was a preschooler, so they don’t really remember. Although it’s not really a *kid’s place*, there are plenty of fun things for kids to do. I’m excited to take them to Omega Mart, see the show, and introduce them to the glory of Wynn’s buffet. I’d love to hear what you do!

It’s time to round up the weekly Faves! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites, too, so please shout out your favorite in the comments section below.
4.24 Friday Faves
Fashion, beauty, random:
Vivrelle’s latest delivery is pretty cool and pretty. I had to pick it up at a UPS location because I was on the phone when they tried to deliver, but it was worth the wait. If you wanted to try it, it’s a wonderful opportunity to borrow luxury bags and jewelry, try new products, and enjoy the experience. Just fill out a short application here and use GINAHARNEY your first month for free. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Special delivery from OneSkin. I use OneSkin products every day and can’t wait to try their new tinted lip protection (it has SPF and their OS-01 peptide) and their night mask is one of my staples. Check it out here!

Pool day with the pilot. When he’s home, we usually try to get things done around the house and get through the weekly school/sports/homework. I had an open block on my schedule and I said let’s ditch the ties and hang out at the pool for a few hours. It was EVERYTHING. We shared the fruit with Tajin and chamoy, and just enjoyed the fresh air and sun (the weather was perfect) and some time to relax.

Personally, I had some kind of bad news this week. I’ve been celebrating three years since my severe autoimmune flare-up and two years of symptom-free Lupus. I went in for my annual physical and blood work about a week ago, and this week I got the results back. My Lupus markers (ANA and dsDNA) are positive again. *cries about the autoimmune roller coaster*
My PCP and I are both confused because I don’t have the symptoms I had before, and I have worked VERY hard to detox, balance, and heal my body. He said he wants to retest in 6 months, and from there we will decide the next steps. He doesn’t think it’s an emergency because I don’t have any symptoms and he said it’s possible for healthy people to have ANA.
Something is fixing my soldiers, and I think it’s the mold we found in the toilet. It’s too bad and our bathroom is attached to our bedroom with no door. :/ We’re on the phone with the mold company to check our results – bathroom mold is the most dangerous type of mold on the mold scale – and we’ll get a plan.
I think I handled everything well, even though I was upset with the results. The pilot brought home a bouquet of flowers and a beautiful sweet arrangement for me to enjoy.
I got myself a negative tag once, I have to do it again. I know mold is a nuisance and it will be expensive to get rid of it all, it will be worth it. I will write a full post soon and share more details and my plan of action, but I probably won’t do a ton until the mold is gone. (One thing I should mention here is that I haven’t done the Shark tutorial yet because I hate it being in our bathroom longer than we need to! I’m going to take it with me to the hotel so I can finally film it because I’m still worried about it and I really want to post a good tutorial here.)
Studying with Maisey to re-examine the symphony:

Read, watch, listen:
I’m still reading this and I can already tell I’m going to have a massive book hangover when it’s over. What are you studying right now? Please share the goods!
The new cookbook for Oh She Glow! I was introduced to Angela through the blog world – we started our blogs at the same time – and it’s been great to see everything she’s accomplished with her blog and great plant-based recipes. We had dinner once in the early days, and it was really good; everything you would expect. I am very excited to add some of these to our meal plan next week.
Fitness, health, and good nutrition:
These salmon dishes were very good and simple: I just cooked rice in the instant pot, salmon in the air fryer (with paprika, garlic, salt, pepper, and chili flakes, I squeezed the lemon with it after cooking), Greek salad (just cucumber, tomato, avocado, red onion, feta, seasoned with lemon juice, red pepper, olive wine vinegar, red vinegar, vinegar red, olive oil tzatziki from Trader Joe’s.

High volume low calorie cooking.
Was the Sculpt Society exercise earlier this week perfect. It wasn’t cardio and just a lot of burn-y barre-esque strength work.
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! Have an amazing weekend and I’ll see you soon!
xoxo
