Love Overboard It was about the connections that were made – but which couples still dated and who broke up?
The romantic series, which premiered on Wednesday, March 26, is hosted by Gabby Windey and a concept followed where “the English board a sailboat in search of romance, but accessing its comforts comes with challenges,” according to the synopsis.
“As they navigate the seas of love and betrayal, only one pair will emerge victorious,” read the remaining description of the Hulu series, which was filmed in June 2025.
In the penultimate episode, there were eight pairs left as the contestants had to vote for the most compatible couple. Those couples included Tim and Gia, Lexi and James, Delaney and Keif, Christine and Jake, and David and Val. Three couples were eliminated: Reece and Sofia, Enna and Andrew, and Leela and Koray.
The ending was a surprise Us Delaney and Keif outed themselves as James and Lexi – and Tim and Gia – voted for David and Val. Meanwhile David and Val vote Tim and Gia out while new couple Christine and Jake decide to vote themselves out to end their time on the ship.
Gia and Tim received the most votes and were the winners against James and Lexi and David and Val. The prize was a $100,000 trip around the world but do Tim and Gia stay together? According to social media, Tim and Gia are still following each other on social media and seem to be getting along but their relationship status is still unclear.
Meanwhile, Val took to Instagram to talk about his time on the show.
“Hello everyone, I know there has been curiosity about what happened behind the scenes, I appreciate everyone’s interest, but I am asking for my privacy while I process things on my own time. “Until then, I hope we can all respect each other’s journey without trying to please you. Thank you guys for your love and support.”
Before the play was shown for the first time, Windey reflected on his way as a manager, talking It’s crowded“I’m just trying to fool girls as much as possible. Dating in the real world, we know how often women fall prey to guys.”
He concluded by saying: “I have favorites, I can’t help it, I have a bad idea, I’m like, “Are you sure you want to go with this guy?” I want to guide them, like, “Girl, [pick] This one. But for them, I try to be objective and keep my words under control, [though] I don’t know if it ever works.”
