Savannah, 54, is back Today in a three-part interview with a former colleague Hoda Kotbwhich premiered on Wednesday, March 25. The women shed tears as they discussed the continuing search for 84-year-old Nancy, who went missing from her home in Arizona on February 1.
“Somebody needs to do the right thing. We’re in pain. … It’s unbearable,” Savannah said Wednesday. “And to think about what he went through. I wake up every night in the middle of the night. Every night. And in the dark, I think of his fear. And it’s unimaginable.”
Authorities have not released the name of the suspect in his disappearance. However, the FBI has released a series of photos and videos of a man dressed in black, including a face covering, captured by Nancy’s doorbell camera the night she went missing.
Savannah and her family continue to release statements, asking anyone with information to come forward.
“He has to come home now,” Savannah told Kotb on Wednesday.
In the second part of the interview, released on Thursday, March 26, Savannah said she still leans on her “strong and strong” faith. He still talks about his mother “in the present”.
“My mom is amazing. She’s strong and strong, a quiet strength. A quiet, but hard-fought faith. She’s funny and mean, I would say, in her humor,” Savannah said. “He is a good creature, he does what is right. He walks in faith, but not fake, holy, rooted faith.”

How Did Savannah Guthrie Find Out That Mom Nancy Was Missing?
Savannah got a call from her sister, Annie Guthriewho said, “Mother is missing.” That day was filled with “chaos and disbelief,” he recalled.
“She was scared, I was scared,” Savannah continued. “We thought he might have had some kind of medical condition during the night and somehow the paramedics got there, because the back doors were open and that doesn’t make sense.”
From the “early moments” of Nancy’s disappearance, the family knew something was wrong.
“She can’t walk around. My mom, she was in incredible pain, her back was really bad. On a good day, she could go to the mailbox and get the mail, but most days she couldn’t,” Savannah said. There was no ‘wandering.’ The doors were open, and there was blood on the front door. The Ring Camera has been released. So we were saying, ‘This is wrong.’

Savannah felt emotional wondering if Nancy’s kidnapping was because of her reputation.
“Honestly, we don’t know anything. We don’t know anything. So, I don’t know if it’s because she’s my mother and someone thought, ‘Oh, that lady has money, we can make some quick money,’ ” he added. “That would make sense, but we don’t know. … It’s too much to think that I brought this to her bedside. That it’s because of me. I have to say, I’m so sorry, Mom.”

Savannah said she and her “amazing” siblings, Annie and Camron, are “a unit.”
“We met all these beautiful gifts from mom and dad and God, and somehow together we did everything we could to come up with words to say. [in our video],” he shared with her.
Savannah and husband Michael Feldman try to give their children, Vale, 11, and Charley, 9, “a little more reassurance than we have” when they update themselves on the situation.
“It’s very difficult with children,” he explained. “You want to protect them.”

The Truth About Ransom Notes
Savannah confirmed that there are “different notes” coming out.
“Most of them, my understanding, I think are not genuine. I did not see them. Someone who would send a fake ransom note should take a serious look at themselves,” he added. “But I believe the two notes we received that we responded to – I tend to believe those are genuine.”
As the investigation continues, Savannah said she has moved houses “many times” because people “don’t respect” what happened to her family.

“I don’t understand, I won’t understand and nobody took care of my mother better than my sister and brother-in-law,” he added. “No one protected my mother more than my brother. We love her and she is our light, she is our matriarch. She is all we have.”
Savannah didn’t say much about the ongoing investigation but noted that the family needs “answers” about Nancy’s whereabouts.
“We cannot have peace without knowing,” he explained. “And one can do the right thing. And it’s never too late to do the right thing. Our hearts are set on that.”
