Republican House candidate Clay Fuller says his playbook is simple in the runoff election for the vacant northwest Georgia district once held by Marjorie Taylor Greene.
“We’re going to continue to get that message out about President Trump supporting us, and my experience, being a military officer, an elected district attorney and an America First fighter,” Fuller told Fox News Digital.
Fuller was interviewed shortly after advancing to the runoff after placing in the top two in a special election in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District. He will face Democrat Shawn Harris, a retired brigadier general and rancher.
Harris received 37% of the vote, while Fuller had 35% among the 17-member field, including 12 Republicans.
SPECIAL ELECTION TO FILL MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE’S OLD SEAT IN THE HEADS OF CONGRESS FOR AN ADDITIONAL TERM.
Tuesday’s and Tuesday’s April 7 special elections are held as Republicans hold a slim 218–214 majority in the House.

The congressional seat was left vacant when MAGA firebrand Greene stepped down in early January. Greene left Congress a year into his term, after publicly falling out with Trump over his push to release the Jeffrey Epstein files.
The GOP cannot face any surprises and allow the Democrats to move the chaos from the areas northwest of Atlanta to the northwest border of Georgia and Alabama and the northern border of Tennessee – where Trump holds 37 points in his 2024 presidential victory.

“President Trump is important to Georgia 14,” stressed Fuller, a local prosecutor and member of the Air National Guard.
Trump joined Fuller during a regional stop in March. Speaking before the president at an event in Rome, Georgia, Fuller described himself as a “MAGA hero.”

“It’s Christmas every time he’s here,” Fuller told Fox News Digital. “Let’s get him back as often as we can. I’d like to have him here every day. I know he’s got bigger problems than Georgia 14 to deal with, but I’d like to see him. Let’s get Vice President JD Vance down here. Let’s get everybody here.”
Georgia Democratic Party Chairman Charlie Bailey, pointing to Harris leading the field on Tuesday, said “The people of Georgia are sick and tired of raising costs, cutting health care, failed Republican leadership – and Shawn’s performance tonight is proof.”
Harris, taking to social media Wednesday, said, “Last night we came out on top in a crowded field and earned our spot in the runoff. That’s no small feat in Northwest Georgia. Now it’s yesterday, April 7th. We’re going right back to work — and we’re going to win again.”
But Harris, who lost to Greene by nearly 30 points in 2024, will face an uphill battle in the runoff election.
Democratic sources tell Fox News Digital that it is unlikely that Democratic-aligned parties will invest resources in the bombing.

Fuller said he will be reaching out to other Republican candidates on the ballot, including former state Sen. Colton Moore, a staunch Trump supporter who enjoys much support from the far right. Moore finished in third place, with about 12% of the vote.

“We know the Republican Party is going to rally around the choice of President Trump. We’re going to push the vote,” Fuller said.
And he emphasized, “Everybody in the field understands that a Democrat can’t represent Georgia 14. It would be a disaster for Georgia 14, a disaster for the MAGA movement. And we’re going to come together as a team and go and defeat this thing and defeat Sean Harris.”
