Kathy Griffin, 65, Holds Hands With 22-Year-Old Mystery Man

He’s a comedian Kathy Griffin it seems that there is no concern when it comes to the age difference of the relationship.
“You’re 22. Have at it, online. 🔥☄️,” Griffin, 65, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, July 9, sharing a photo of a mysterious man dressed in all black and holding his hand in New York City.
Without further identifying his friend or clarifying their relationship status, many of Griffin’s social media followers spoke to the alleged couple.
“Did you go to MSG to look for a wedding venue?” Broadway star Danny Burstein wrote in the comments section, referring to Taylor Swift again Travis KelceWedding venue from last week. “Sending love to you both. 🙂♥️.”
Another fan added, “I was thinking of taking Mrs.
Hell’s kitchen alum Kyle Timpson came in, writing, “Get a girl!” while one social media user advised Griffin, “Don’t marry her.”
The fourth answered, “If he opens the car door for you, keep him.”
Griffin himself was amused by the mixed reactions.
“I’M DYING WITH THESE COMMENTS 👏😂👏,” he replied with a laugh.
Griffin has been married twice. The comedy star got married Matt Moline in 2001 before they divorced in 2006. Griffin later married Randy Bick from 2020 to 2025.
After her second divorce, Griffin tried online dating to meet a new partner.
“It was not my idea Sia and our friend Nia Vardalosit’s a mistake. We were at Sia’s house, being silly girls, when they told me to do it,” Griffin wrote in her caption. The Cut published in December 2025. “And because emotionally I’m 12 years old, I was like, ‘Nobody’s going to scare me! I’ll do anything. I’m Kathy Griffin.'”
Griffin downloaded Raya, Hinge, Bumble and EliteSingles and quickly had “hundreds of hits. [her] through her exploration of online dating, she even “accidentally fell in love” with a 23-year-old man.
“Because of his age, he didn’t have the usual sexism, misogyny and prejudice that boys my age tend to have. He could see me. I know that sounds really wrong,” Griffin recalled. “I felt really comfortable with him, and I felt a lot of satisfaction in just getting out. It didn’t last long, and we both knew that, but it was nice to know that my heart could still feel that way in my 60s, and it was nice to have the whole world show me a guy that I really got a kick out of but also respected. I thought he was smart. I thought he couldn’t be heard, but maybe a different world … clicked.”
Despite dating, Griffin ended their relationship after learning that she did not want to have children.
“I was like, ‘You don’t know that. You’re 23. You don’t know.’ I wouldn’t do that to him,” he said. “I mean, when I was 23, I thought I knew a lot of s***, but I didn’t. So I had to release that dove.”
