Country Singer Chris Young Is Safe After Plane Crash

A country singer Chris Young he certainly had a Father’s Day a weekend to remember after experiencing a terrifying travel surprise.

“Flying to Nashville to see my Dad for Father’s Day….Brake failure on the plane,” Young, 41, wrote on Instagram Monday, June 22. “Luckily they had amazing pilots. They landed safely. Thank you Lord, the firefighters and the front men.”

The singer, who is famous for his hit songs such as “Famous Friends” and “I’m Comin’ Over,” assured fans that he will not let this incident stop him from flying tomorrow.

In a separate Instagram story, Young confirmed that the show is still on as he teased upcoming concerts in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Thursday, June 25, and Fort Bliss, Texas, on Saturday, June 27.

Young also has a busy summer ahead, including several concerts cross country.

In addition to performing at The Back Road Music Festival in August, Young will perform hits for fans in multiple cities, including the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa, California, and the Central Wisconsin State Fair.

“Thank you Country Radio for adding ‘I Didn’t Come to Get Away From Here!'” Young wrote on Instagram on June 16, a few days after his birthday. “This song is special to me and it feels like a new chapter, I couldn’t do this without it all. 🤘
