The New York Knicks’ miraculous Game 4 comeback earlier this week resulted in a youngster being knocked unconscious.
The New York Police Department said Friday that “a group approached a 17-year-old boy” near Madison Square Garden and “argued” before someone “hit and kicked the teenager.”
“He had a seizure and was unconscious,” the NYPD said of the child.

According to a report by the New York Post, the wanted man was the one attacking when he shouted, “The Spurs are up right now. We’re winning. Spurs at 7.”
Someone in the injured youth group, but not a teenager, responded, “”F— the Spurs. Suck my d—.”
A scuffle then ensued, which resulted in the youth being injured.
The Post newspaper said that the young man has come out of a coma and is listed in a critical but stable condition.
“He’s pulling. He’s responding,” the child’s mother told the Post, adding that he had to be taken out of the ICU.

“The doctor said they will take him off the ventilator today. I hope he will be in the normal room tomorrow.”
The Knick’s return created a frenzy in the streets. However, that led to the arrest of 15 and the eggs of Victor Wembanyama when the Spurs returned to their team hotel.
Watch parties have turned violent throughout this Knicks streak. During the Eastern Conference Finals, teams outside of MSG were canceled, but brought back to begin Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals. They were stopped in Game 3 due to the visit of President Donald Trump, and while a party of 1,000 people was planned for Game 4, owner James Dolan dismissed the idea, saying he did not want thousands of others to be shut out of the event.
Many fights and other chaotic behavior throughout the city were caught on camera.
