5.15 Friday Faves – The Fitnessista

No! Happy Friday! How are you?? I hope you had a good week.
There’s a lot going on here! We had three weeks of travel – Las Vegas, El Paso for the BTS concert and I went to NYC for our mastermind last week – and Liv graduated 8th grade! UP still has one week left of school (bad thing lol) but then she’s in summer mode and I can’t wait. Sharing some photos from recent events below!
Lola wanted to show you her horse’s tail and tell you to try eating our pig this week.

It’s time to round up the weekly Faves! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites, too, so please shout out your favorite in the comments section below.
5.15 Friday Faves
Fashion, beauty, random:
NYC! This is one of my favorite places in the world and I was so excited when I found out that our genius will meet for spring events and brainstorming. (I have worked with Jill as one of my business coaches and have been her mentor for years.)
Other highlights of the trip:
Business friends! I saw some of my long time friends and business partners, Giselle, Amber and Tina. Between sessions, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed shopping, delicious food, and late night snacks Pretty Woman in a hotel room.

The days were filled with conversations and hot seats, and it was fun to hear what everyone was doing in this fast-changing space. AI has changed the internet landscape in many ways (some good, some not so good, coughing up revenue coughing up damage), and it’s been helpful for me to get new tips about ads, launch strategy, systems, and funnels.

MJ Music.
This wasn’t something I would have chosen to see on my own (I like MJ but I’m not like OMG MICHAEL JACKSON if that makes sense) but it blew my mind. The dancing and singing were amazing, and we have to admit that Michael Jackson has BANGERS. It was amazing. After that, we caught a rickshaw back to the hotel and we sang and danced to Michael Jackson while people on the street shook with us. It was everything haha.

Amber and I stayed another night and saw the Moulin Rouge! I *tried* to see it when it came to Tucson – I went during the break because it was bad haha – but I wanted to give it another chance because one of my fans, Kelsie Watts, is leading. It was INCREDIBLE. His voice is a dream, the actor who played Christian was amazing, the sets, the dancing, the production value, everything was amazing.

We also had the best gluten free pizza and spent all day Saturday shopping on the 5th before heading to the airport.

I was home for Mother’s Day!
We had the best brunch at La Paloma with friends,

and meet some friends at their lake cabana.
That night, we celebrated with my mom and nana at the park with take out, drinks, and the kids could run around and play.
Other recent purchases:
these spots are wrinkled. I like them more than Frownies. I find it hard to peel Frownies off my skin and they are easy but seem to work just as well. They have a small amount of copper peptide, too, which is well absorbed by the skin.
These jean shorts are from Aritzia. Perfect length, not too expensive and fits TTS.
This book was highly recommended by our genius, so I ordered it.
I also ordered this book on the recommendation of a teaching client who loved it.
More of my favorite CBD gummies. I had to re-examine the symphony chorus this week and one of these really helped my mood. It’s like instant calm. You can use GINAH here.
I LOVE linen in the summer but I don’t always love the prices. I ordered some pieces from Quince and will report back!
Dazzle Dry. After five solid years of having dip nails, I give them a break in the summer and let them breathe. They are already driving me crazy, let’s see how long I can last.
This got a good review and while it’s okay, I don’t love it. I just love the thick and shiny look of the dip but I’m trying to detox while getting my autoimmune stuff under control as well.

Read, watch, listen:
I FINALLY finished this book and while I thought it took longer than it needed to, it was worth sticking with. I definitely shed a tear or two on the last page. It was good and lived up to the hype.
You’re already excited for the next season of DWTS.
Fitness, health, and good nutrition:
I’m excited for new recipe inspo.
Healthy summer party and grilling recipes.
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! Have an amazing weekend and I’ll see you soon!
xoxo
