West Wilson he explains about his recent recorded interview with him Summer House the costar Kyle Cooke after confirming that he was dating Kyle’s estranged wife, Amanda Batula.
On the Monday, May 25, episode of the “Show Me Something” podcast, West features the WNBA player Sophie CunninghamThe reality star, 31, confirmed that he sat down with Kyle, 43, last week to discuss the scandal. Summer House. (Kyle previously revealed that he had to sit down with West face-to-face for the first time since news of his relationship with Amanda, 34, broke in March.)
“I won’t say [we’re] good. Nothing is going wrong right now, but we talked for three hours on Wednesday,” said West. I don’t know if it was because of that Summer House or for In the city.”
“I gave in. I was like, ‘Dude, I’m not trying to get you to a better place with this f***ing game. I care about you as a friend, and this doesn’t need to be recorded.’ Kyle said, ‘Everything happened. Our life was on camera. I might just record it,’” he continued.
According to West, the conversation was more civilized than their previous interactions Summer House season 10 reunion, which was filmed in April and premieres Tuesday, May 26, on Bravo.
“I’m glad we did [it] because obviously it was not easy and strange to start, but I think we made a lot of progress. It was not a gun fight. It was calm and peaceful and we are trying to get along and get to a better place,” he said, “I really appreciate him doing that. One, just to hear me, and two, to be cool about it, and three, ending on that note would probably be better for me because it was a better place to talk about it all than to meet. When the reunion is over, my chances are not good for me, so that opportunity, I really appreciate it.”
Sophie, 29, asked West if it seemed like Kyle was “in a good place” for now after the tumultuous start to 2026. Kyle and Amanda announced their separation after four years of marriage in January. In March, Amanda and West confirmed that they were seeing each other.
“It would be weird if I said ‘yes.’ He’s in a weird situation right now and I’m part of the reason he’s in it,” West replied. “But I think there’s a lot of greener grass for him to move on. Unfortunately, right now, it’s just a weird place. … He was very good. It’s like***** situation.”
“The reunion is not, like, soft by any means, but I think the reunion is a good opportunity for everyone to get it out of their system and it can all be a lot of fun in the background,” added West about the season 10 reunion and his hope that he will be able to mend fences with his phone.
