New Mom’s Jenelle Evans Shares Update on Son Jace

The New Mother alum Jenelle Evans it seems that he is working hard to put his past problems with his son Jace after them.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, May 1, Evans, 34, shared a collection of photos and videos of her and Jace, 16, as they spent quality time together on “parents’ weekend.”

Evans shared a selfie of the mother-son duo together and a glimpse of a kayaking trip they embarked on together.

“Therapy and kayaking with my best friend. We both work together at the same time 💓🥹 #ParentsWeekend #MentalHealthAwareness,” the reality TV star captioned the post.

Evans — Jace’s assignee and ex Andrew LewisKaiser, 11, and ex Nathan Griffith, and Ensley, 9, with David Eason – also shared weekend sketches using social media, which seemed to be a parenting activity.

Another paper read “emotional hijacking” and included practical steps you can take such as “Do things they enjoy. Respect their feelings” and “Build a relationship.” Evans captioned the post, “#Parenting101.”

Evans fans voiced their support for the family update in the comments section.

“Precious, but make sure Jake joins you in posting😉🤔 Hope All is well with you both🫶🫶,” wrote one, while another added, “Good job mom. ❤️”

Meanwhile, another fan wrote, “She looks great. I’m glad she’s doing well. So proud of her.”

In March, news broke that Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, filed for emergency custody of Jace after the teenager pulled a gun on her relatives in February. (Jace was living with Barbara in North Carolina at the time, while Jenelle lived in Las Vegas with her two young children.)

Barbara’s proposal was rejected but Lewis started a GoFundMe page to raise money for her son’s “medical and legal” expenses, which Evans later denounced as a “scam.”

Evans previously shared an update on Jace on the April 13, episode of the “La Femme Talk” podcast.

“I’m going to let you know something that I haven’t told anyone,” Evans said on the podcast. “You know I’ve been very quiet online, and behind the scenes, I’ve actually been getting my son the help he needs, and he’s in a safe place. [in a] the perfect way.”

He went on to say, “I think that’s the most important thing. Many people think that since I’m just silent, I might not do anything and not take anything. But just know that when I’m silent, I’m doing something.”
