Morgan Wallen Breaks The Silence After Playing Around With The Piano

Morgan Wallen made his first public speech after lifting a piano while performing on stage in Denver, Colorado.

Wallen, 33, took to TikTok four days after the Empower Field concert at Mile High to share a sarcastic response to the incident on Friday, May 29. “Hey, I just want you to know that this piano is working right now,” he told fans as he tapped the piano keys. After appearing to record a clip in his dressing room one night after the incident, Wallen added, “That’s what they told me last night.”

The country music star also captioned the video, “Can’t you see I’m so worried about my piano?”

Wallen, currently on his 23rd home run Still the Problem Tour in the US, she appeared distraught on Friday night just before performing her hit song “Sand In My Boots.” In photos shared on social media and many news outlets, the singer appeared unable to hear his piano with ear pieces.

Us Weekly contacted Wallen’s representatives at the time but did not hear back.

Fans took to Wallen’s TikTok video to comment on his nonchalant response, with one person writing in the comments section, “I love seeing you clap,” and another writing, “Hah! I was there … great concert!”

The praise follows criticism of Wallen’s piano flip, with fans voicing their disapproval on social media due to a video circulating online. “He’s a mature professional if you can believe it,” wrote one Instagram user, while another wrote, “From chairs on the streets of Nashville to pianos blowing up. Wow, anger management can help. What a kid.”
