Love Is Blind’s Alexa Lemieux Talks Brennon Divorce

Love Is Blind‘s Alexa Lemieux She is ready to go public with her decision to divorce her husband Brennon Lemieux after four years of marriage.
“I asked for it,” Alexa, 31, shared Us WeeklyAn exclusive sneak peek of the Thursday, May 21, episode of “He said, G said” “It wasn’t because I lacked love. I couldn’t do it anymore. I was tired.”
Brennon, 35, and Alexa are getting married in June 2021 on time Love Is Blind season 3, which aired on Netflix the following year. The two later welcomed daughter Vienna in July 2024.
When talking to podcast producers Blake Horstmann again Love Is Blind alum Giannina Milady GibelliAlexa said the breakup was mutual.
“My main thing was that I wanted my daughter to see what love is like, but that’s not the case,” she explained. “It would be my greatest failure as a mother to be what he thought he was.”
Alexa started to feel bad when she remembered reading a quote online that touched her heart.
“It sounds stupid, but I saw something on TikTok and it was like, ‘If your daughter was in a relationship like you are, would you be proud or would you be disappointed?’” she said while trying to hold back tears. “I was really disappointed. That would have broken my heart. That was my answer, so why should this be?”

At the time, the couple said the decision “came with great care, respect and appreciation for the time we held.”
That same month, Us Brennon confirmed that previously filed for divorce and said that marriage is “no longer viable” due to “personal conflict” that prevents any “reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”
Before there are relationship problems, Love Is Blind fans watched Alexa and Brennon form an instant connection after sharing a few days together.
When Brennon proposed to Alexa, he told her that he was “infatuated” and “in love” with her.
“I want to spend every day of my life trying to please you in any way I can,” he shared at the time.
