Lorenzo de Moor he had more than a few kind words to share about him You, Me & Tuscany star, Regé-Jean Page.
“It’s so funny because Regé speaks a lot of Italian in this movie and he comes up to me and says, ‘Hey, man, is this good?’ And I would just be mad, because this guy is already very nice and very charming and he will be able to speak Italian better than me,” said Moor, 31, to himself. Us Weekly how it is off-set with the previous one Bridgerton star, 38.
“I was like, ‘What is this about?'” he added.
Moore also shared the same sweet sentiments about her co-star Hale Bailey.
“I was very surprised by Halle, what you see is what you get,” Moore said Us. “A very loving, accessible person. She’s a great mom, a great scene partner and a bundle of joy. Every time she would come, she would just bring the light. And that’s a gift, you know, when you can do that and light up a room, it’s very special.”
In the film, which was released on Friday, April 10, Moore and Page play “cousin brothers” who grew up outside of Tuscany, Italy. Page’s Michael was taken in by his cousin Matteo’s (Moor) family after his parents died. As an adult, Matteo flees to Italy after falling out with his family, hoping to find out who is missing from the Tuscan sun.

Moore shared that he saw himself and many of his friends in Matteo.
“I know exactly where he’s coming from. And there was something about this character’s hunger, the need to go somewhere else and escape, and expand, that I was really drawn to,” Moore said. “The fact that, in doing that, because of the fire and how great that need is, sometimes it becomes bitter, especially if you have deep and strong roots.”
Page’s Michael stays in Italy to help the family and take on some of the problems left by Matteo’s absence. Enter Anna (played by Bailey, 26) who casually meets Matteo in a bar and decides to take the opportunity to travel to Italy in hopes of finding him and his next adventure.

Although Matteo is nowhere to be found when he arrives, he meets Michael and the two form an instant connection, although there are obstacles in the way of the two finally being together. Without spoiling the movie, everyone gets their version of a happy ending and uses this new found relationship to help reach that.
“[What] “I love this movie that every character needs each other to grow,” said Moore Us. “Anna needs Matteo to find strength and go to Italy. Matteo needs Anna to come home and talk to her family. [Michael] he needs Anna to come and be gentle and romantic. I like that it’s a great picture of what life is, a lot of wonderful accidents.”
The cast and crew became very close while working together, especially because of the location of the film, Moore said Us. The film was shot in a small area in Tuscany called Bagno Vignoni, a hill just above the Val d’Orcia region. Moore joked Us that he did not know that “you can’t even call it a city,” because there was nothing to do in the area.
“Right after we finished filming, we’d go into the town square and have drinks and dinner, and it was just this ongoing family time,” Moore said. “We worked together and then we lived in the same place. It helped the narrative so much that all this time we had time to meet and party and be with the team and have a lot of fun times.”
Before working with Page, Moore said he had never seen the actor play Simon in the first season. Bridgertonbut he fixed it immediately after the throw You, Me & Tuscany.
“When I booked this job, my mom and my aunt and all my family were like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re going to work with Regé? You have to see it,'” Moore said. Us. “I was like, OK, I think I’m going to do it. And then I saw the show, and I understood. I said, ‘Oh, I can see why everybody’s in love with this man.’ But, yes, [he’s] good looking. My god, so sexy.”

Moore’s upcoming projects include an action-thriller The cliffhangerhe played in it closely The lily James again Pierce Brosnanagain Maserati: Brotherswith Anthony Hopkins again Jessica Alba. Although he says he doesn’t really have a dream of what kind of work he wants to work on, Moore admitted that he wants to continue working on films that “touch me deeply in some way.”
“If the text is rich [with] crowd and it gives you a chance to dive in and really play, and to me, that’s what it’s all about,” Moore said. “I love comedy. It brings me great joy. But I’m also really excited to play characters with a strong arc. [Who] go have bigger challenges and something that can really take me somewhere else.”
