Janel Parrish again Chris Long they officially filed for divorce as he continued to make fun of his love Dancing with the Stars‘ Sasha Farber.
TMZ It was reported on Wednesday, April 29, that Parrish, 37, and Long, 41, have jointly filed for divorce. Legal documents note that Parrish and Long agree on spousal support, property division, legal fees and a date of separation.
At the beginning of this month, news emerged that the two had given up.
“Thank you all for the kind and supportive messages, it really means the world,” Parrish wrote on Instagram on April 10. “After 10 wonderful years together, including seven years of marriage, Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.”
He continued: “There is still a lot of love and respect between us, and I am very grateful for everything we have built together. This chapter of my life, with Chris, will always mean a lot to me. I also thank you for the messages of love and support.”
Us Weekly confirmed at the time that Parrish and Long had been separated for several months. They started dating in 2016 and got engaged the following year.
“I went to the park for a walk with Klee and she came back with a boyfriend,” she wrote on Instagram in 2017. “I’m getting married to my best friend and I’m over the moon. I love you @c_long.”
Before their wedding, the actress revealed how she knew Long was right for her.
“He is just my person, my soul knows him,” he said to himself Us in August 2018. “You’re my best friend in the whole world. And no matter what happens, if I’m having a really bad day, I feel like I have someone who understands me. And even if I don’t understand at the time, you try. And that feels so good.”
Parrish’s divorce made headlines as he was seen spending a lot of time with her DWTS pro Farber, 41. The two have repeatedly shared photos and videos of themselves dancing and getting cozy but have never spoken directly about their relationship.
Parish has competed before Dancing with the Stars during season 19 with Val Chmerkovskiy in 2014, finishing in third place. Farber, on the other hand, appeared on the team that year.
Farber’s romance with Parrish comes after she married a DWTS producer Emma Slater from 2018 to 2023. Then he continued with his DWTS celeb partner Jenn Tranand the two are connected from 2024 to 2025.
“I hate dating. But it takes, like, a second, you have to meet someone. There’s a lot that goes into it when you want to find someone special,” Farber said on the “Casual Chaos” podcast in January about the DWTS shows four months before sparking dating speculation. “[On the show]you’re just messing around. ‘Let’s go. Hello, nice to meet you. OK, we’re going to rub our hips. We will dive. We will do this. I want to get in your face here. You should really look at me.’”
