General Hospital: Anna’s Deadly Ghost Nightmare – Who Dies Next?

General Hospital he has Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) back Port Charles this week. Unfortunately, her mental health hasn’t recovered as much as everyone thinks, and that’s because Peter August (Wes Ramsey) remains unhired in her head. So, Anna tricks her ghost and Faison’s evil son has a diabolical agenda that could cause Anna to do something deadly.
We’ll talk about Peter pushing Anna to kill someone according to the official spoilers.
General Hospital: Anna’s Dangerous Delusion
So, this week, Anna’s family welcomes her home. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) are happy to be back and Emma Scorpio Drake (Brayden Bruner) and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) are ready to welcome him home. So things seem good for Anna except for one big thing.
He deceives Peter and lies about it. So, right away Anna returns to the hustle and bustle of her old life. He went back to his house with Emma. And soon Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is more than happy to give Anna back her job as police commissioner. Dante will be glad to be back as a detective without the pressure of being a PCPD boss.
And legal General Hospital spoilers say Anna comes home with murderous intentions. And at first, I wondered if he was going to come back and kill Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) by gaslighting him, but no, he’s already raising daisies thanks to WSB agent Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Therefore, deadly intentions are clearly directed at another person entirely. And I think Peter wants Anna to kill someone who hates him, has a grudge against him.
So, Peter might advise Anna to make amends with him, the person she thinks has wronged her. However, this Peter thing goes back to the spoiler about Ana getting advice from an unreliable source. So, let’s talk about who Peter wants to die for, or at least the twisted version of him that lives inside Ana’s head.
Peter’s Potential Target in GH
First and foremost, I think it would be Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who Peter wants dead. And of course, Anna knows that Peter hates Valentin because when Peter was a defenseless little child, an infant, Valentin gave Peter to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). And by all accounts, his childhood was pretty rough. Want to hear something weird? I don’t recall Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) ever talking about Peter yet.
Both of them were raised by Faison, and their childhoods were to pass. There is almost a gap of five to ten years between them. Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) gave Cassius to Faison and Valentin gave Peter and Faison raised them both. However, that did not happen. We know that Peter grew up hard.
Some of it was spent at boarding school and Cassius talked a little about his childhood, but we have to assume it was also pretty bad. So Peter may want revenge on Valentin for being raised by the evil Faison. And Valentin felt guilty about this. So, that’s why he watches over Peter and tries to help and protect him as much as he can whenever he can.
And this week, spoilers say Anna and Valentin reconnect. And I think after that, we’ll get to hear Peter’s thoughts on Valentin after he and Anna have that meeting. So, we’ll see if Peter says right away that he wants him to kill Valentin.
General Hospital: Peter May Target Felicia
Another obvious choice as a way to get revenge on Peter is Felicia, who is Anna’s best friend. There is no doubt that, Spirit Peter must hate Felicia for killing her. He hits Peter over the head with a tire iron to save his daughter Maxie Jones, (Kirsten Storms) and then falls down the ledge.
There was time to save her, but Anna did not call an ambulance. And instead, when all the others left Peter and left him bleeding, he stayed. Anna sat there and held Peter’s hand all the way until she took her last breath so she wouldn’t die alone. So, this could be some expression of Anna’s guilt for his death, you know, because she sat there and let Peter die.
Another way to get revenge would be one or both of the Quartermaine brothers, Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), especially because Peter targeted them before. If you remember, he tried to kill Jason and Drew separately many times. They did not start things with Peter. He was the one who came after them. And if you remember, he had Jason locked up in that Russian clinic for years under the name Patient Six. And Peter does a memory transfer between Jason and Drew for Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). Plus, Peter faked Drew’s death in that plane crash. So, Jason is back soon, and Drew is recovering from confinement, so he could be one of them.
Anna and Jason’s connection on GH
And don’t forget, Anna was very close to Jason. They even kissed thinking they were going to die at Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) camp in Africa. Therefore, Ana may have Jason on her mind, and Peter who lives in her head may be troubled by that. I tend to think Drew will be under target, though.
Next, we can see Peter with Anna’s goal Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) or Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). We know that Anna gets to connect with both of these women from Faison’s life soon. Peter hates that Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) was healthy and people loved him, including Britt and Liesl.
So, Peter may want Ana to punish them. Summer spoilers say Britt faces some tough questions from Anna. And those questions would be about his brother, Cassius, you know, he’s also Faison’s child and related to Peter. So, Peter might want to find out more about how Cassius got in General Hospital and he pretended to be Nathan.
And don’t forget, Liesl kidnapped and tortured Peter earlier. And then Liesl actually tried to burn him alive in revenge for his role in precious Nathan’s death. So, Peter may have some kind of attachment to Cassius that we never hear about because they grew up together. And maybe he wants to punish Britt and Liesl for Cassius’ death, we know he’s not dead. And since Cullum is dead and won’t be punished for killing him, maybe he’ll go after one of them.

General Hospital: Liz is Intended for Payback
A final option that could be interesting as a target for Peter is nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). If you remember, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) thought he killed Peter when they confronted each other on the stairs. General Hospital after that Peter went down all those steps until he died.
That was crazy because Finn checked his heart rate. The doctor said he was dead. Liz checked it out, too. The nurse also confirmed Peter’s death. Liz then helps Finn cover up Peter’s supposed death by putting him in the freezer in the basement. General Hospital. But Liz and Finn can’t check the pulse properly, I think, because Peter was alive and escaped. And with Finn gone, I could see Peter wanting to punish Liz for both of them.
General Hospital: Peter Drama Amps Up This Week
And you know, Peter is probably crazy that he helped cover up her death and made her a human popsicle. However, I think Peter targeting Liz is a pretty long shot. I tend to lean towards being someone that Peter and Anna were both very involved with, someone like Valentin or Felicia. But we’ll find out more when we see Anna return to her house and have secret drawn-out conversations with ghost Peter. And then we will also hear what he says to Anna after he meets Felicia and Valentin and others close to Anna.
I will say this, I never went back to Wes Ramsey General Hospital like Peter August on my summer bingo card and I see a lot of fans on social media saying no one asked for this. So, I will tell you this. Wes was back Days of Our Lives. He was playing this villain that he played almost twenty years ago and he was a villain then and he came back as a kidnapping villain and I thought he did a good job. A little more subtle than he used to be General Hospital. So, I’ll give you a chance. I will wait and see.
That’s yours General Hospital analyzing Peter’s deadly plan.
