Georgie and Mandy’s First Wedding focuses on age-gap romance – but stars Emily Osment again Montana Jordan do you feel the years between them?
“No, to be honest,” Osment, 34, said to himself Us Weekly at CBS Fest on Wednesday, April 15. “There are a few TV shows that he doesn’t know but other than that, they’re kind of it.”
Osment revealed that her on-screen husband is all grown up — and it helps that he’s already a father at 23. While looking ahead to the second half of season 2, Osment teased when Georgie and Mandy’s relationship could end.
“They really love each other.” There’s no doubt about that,” he commented. “And I think it’s obvious that they have great chemistry, and you want it to work. We all hope that the first marriage is the same for people as the second and third. [marriage].”

This has had an impact on fans looking for Georgie and Mandy, but Osment urged viewers not to lose hope.
“Personally, I hope it takes them a long time to get there,” Osment said to himself. Us in December 2025 about his hopes for a new CBS show. “So the title, everybody knows that’s coming at some point — and it keeps people watching for a while.”
Osment prefers a longer design, adding, “Personally, I’d like to see it have some legs before it falls apart.”
Although she is also “concerned” about the future of the fictional couple, Osment chose to focus on the positive, adding, “I’m saying this. [based on] nothing at all. We receive scripts about 12 hours before we read them at the table. So we don’t know what’s going on with the pipeline forever.”
Osment admitted at the time that Georgie and Mandy’s rift may have played a role in the breakdown of their marriage. “Maybe we can think it’s because of the age difference. It could be that and a bunch of other things,” he noted.
The actor praised the sitcom for telling strong stories about the ups and downs couples face in marriage.
“It could be anything, but I have this feeling that it might have something to do with him soon being the king of Texas wheels,” he added. “We know from Big Bang Theory that he is the most successful God of all. When people are really successful in their work, sometimes it can affect their home life.”
