Dylan Sprouse and his wife, Barbara Palvinshe spoke after she avoided a burglar at their home in Los Angeles.
“We’re dealing with trauma with humor and fun and all that,” Palvin, 32, told E! News on the red carpet for the first time The Devil Wears Prada 2 on Monday, April 20.
On Friday, April 17, multiple sources confirmed that Sprouse, 33, was confronted by a burglar outside the couple’s Hollywood Hills home. Sprouse faced allegations of trespassing on his lawn after Palvin spotted a “creepy guy,” according to the report. Los Angeles Times.
“I thought it was funny,” Sprouse admitted to E! News on Monday’s glitzy carpet event. “This hurts me a lot but I’m not really a ‘quick’ guy, usually.”
He went on to say, “We laugh at things when they happen, you must be lazy in life. We are thankful that no one was injured and there was no more violence.”
According to reports, Palvin called 911 around 12:30 a.m. PT on Friday to report a possible home invasion. It is said that Sprouse had a gun and stopped the suspect until the police arrived a short time later.
The suspect was taken into custody on a non-contact warrant. No one was reported injured and it is believed that the entire dispute took place outside the residence.

“This past weekend was supposed to be an intimate event, but we ended up with 115 guests in the end because there are many people we care about, and we wanted them all to be there,” explained Palvin.
