Charlie Kirk’s Family Speaks Out Ahead of Trial

Charlie KirkThe family of the deceased is talking like this, the accused of being the killer of this activist is heading to the court to begin his hearing.
“Charlie was a loving husband, son, brother, friend and father,” his parents, Robert again Kathrynwe are Mary and the wife Erika Kirk said in a joint statement with X on Monday, July 6. “Every court is a painful reminder of his death and the loss that has irrevocably affected our lives and the lives of his children.”
Those closest to Charlie said they are still grateful for the support, prayers and kindness we have received. This outpouring has sustained us through the most difficult days of our lives.
“Out of respect for the justice system, we will not comment further at this time,” the statement continued. “We ask for continued privacy as we look into this process and the great grief.”
Starting Monday, prosecutors will try to show they have enough evidence Tyler Robinson proceeding with the case.
Robinson, 23, – who has yet to enter a plea and will not have to unless prosecutors win a trial – was charged with aggravated murder. it is said that he was shot dead Charlie when he spoke in September 2025 at Utah Valley University. Charlie was 31 years old.
Charlie’s widow, 37, and parents were pictured arriving in court on Monday, which could take up to a week before a judge decides whether there is enough evidence for a trial.

Courtesy of Erika Kirk/InstagramAccording to the The Associated Pressthe judge asked the people in the court to show proper behavior during the trial. Spectators are not allowed to display pins, clothing, photos or other visible displays of support for anyone involved in the hearing.
Shelly Juberwho lives in Utah, received one of the 14 public court seats.
“I’m a crime watcher, a true crime enthusiast,” he told The Associated Press when explaining why he wanted to attend. “My grandson’s girlfriend was there [at Utah Valley University] the day it happened.”
At a memorial service in September 2025, Erika fought back tears as she told mourners that she had forgiven Robinson for allegedly killing her husband while vowing to carry on Charlie’s legacy. (Erika and Charlie welcomed two children together before her death.)
“My husband, Charlie, wanted to save young men, like the one who took his own life,” she said said at the time. “I forgive him because that’s what Christ did. That’s what Charlie would do.”
Since Charlie’s death, Erika has become the chairman and CEO of Turning Point USA, a conservative youth organization founded by her husband.
“He knew that evil succeeds when good people remain silent,” said Erika Fox Nation’s Patriot Awards in November 2025. “For the rest of my life, I will make sure that I am not silent. I will continue to speak the truth no matter what the cost. I pray that you all will, for Charlie.”
