The billionaire rocker is facing a backlash after he recently blasted America’s super-rich in a scathing speech – which critics say sounds odd given his own reported $1.2 billion fortune.
According to Forbes’ March 2026 report, “The World’s Celebrity Billionaires,” Springsteen comes in at No. 15 with a staggering net worth of $1.2 billion.

Springsteen began speaking to the audience, “The richest men in America abandoned the world’s poorest children and killed and died of disease through the dispersal of American aid. This is happening now. We are undermining NATO and the world order that kept us safe and at peace in the world for 80 years. This is happening now.”

Springsteen argued that America’s global image was deteriorating.
“The White House, this White House is destroying the image of America and our reputation around the world. To many, we are no longer seen as the often imperfect but strong defenders of democracy who represent the good around the world.”

“We are no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave. We are now America, a reckless, unpredictable, aggressive, corrupt nation. That is this administration, and it will be the legacy of this president. And that is happening now.”
He concluded by calling for the main levels, as the backlash increased on the Internet.
“Honesty, honor, humility, truth, compassion, reason, morality, true power and respect, don’t let anyone tell you that these things don’t matter anymore.
