Bella Hadid stepped out for a rare red carpet appearance at the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival.
Hadid, 29, stunned as she attended the Garance show on Sunday, May 17, in Cannes, France. The model rocked a satin strapless dress in a shade of pale gray with a jeweled bodice and dramatic train, matching the look with the same wrap she had off her shoulders.
She styled her hair in an updo and wore a white gold Chopard jewelry set, including diamond earrings and bracelets. Hadid completed the look with pointed white heels.
Bella went with her brother, Anwar Hadidat the event. Anwar, 26, chose a black tuxedo with a white shirt and tie.
Months before the event, Bella opened up about her treatment for Lyme disease. When he was talking to his sister Gigi Hadid Of course Vogue Italia cover, Bella was asked what she’s “learning” by “pushing it hard” with her work-life balance. (Bella was diagnosed with the disease in 2013.)
“We learn that when it’s time to say no, we have to say no,” replied the model, while Gigi, 31, added, “And we learn to plan our lives in a way that will last for a long time.”
Bella continued, “Of course, I think that’s very important and I’ve actually learned that and I think the way I worked for many years was unsustainable. I think, you know, even during the COVID I continued to work.”
Bella went on to note that she feels in tune with where she is “right now,” sharing that being in Texas with her horses and dog and having a “real life” before going back to work makes it “more fulfilling.”

“Now I know that if I can say ‘No,’ then I can face my feelings [Lyme disease] The treatment last year and saying no to all jobs for almost a year, which I was complaining about. I was upset because he felt abandoned,” he explained, noting that he “struggled” with not coming to terms with his personal worth and his career.
He went on to say, “You know that my success and the things I do in my job are not equal to what kind of person I am and how much I am loved or how good I am. It has nothing to do with the jobs I say I accept.”
Bella went on to say that this is a topic she discusses in medicine. “For a long time, turning down a job was like, ‘Who was I to say no to anything?'” he explained. “You know, it was just the two of us and we were just grateful to have respect in the industry.”
She went on to talk candidly about how she learned to “let go” of that mindset and learned that “people know my heart and my personality and who I am now.”
“I can take that out and really do the jobs I have with the people I love and trust, support and respect,” she said. “And that’s good enough. And I’m good enough.”
