General Hospital Shocking Casting News: Kirsten Storms Leaves, Serena Recast & Two Major Exits!

General Hospital fans, we’ve got some shocking news about Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Serena Baldwin and two more exits, and more exits and exits.
General Hospital: Serena Baldwin Recast – Kelly Krueger Enters
So, we’ll get to the big things of Kirsten Storms in a moment. But first, let’s talk again. There’s a new Serena Baldwin coming to the ABC soap opera. In case you forgot, she was last played by Carly Schroeder, who starred from 1997 to 2003, but will not be returning as Serena. The reason is very interesting. Back in 2019, Carly Schrader joined the Army, and she’s badass. He is a senior and five years ago he also got his wings in the air.
That’s paratrooper training and posting videos of him shooting guns and all that military stuff. So with Carly serving her country, they needed a new Serena and enlisted another beautiful vet to play her. General Hospital soap veteran Kelly Krueger in the role. He was open The Young and the Restless from 2002 to 2019, continued as McKenzie Browning.
She has also done Christmas movies as many soap stars do. Kelly also made twelve episodes Bold and Beautiful like a character named Eve. That role was great for Kelly because she got to work with her then-husband, soap actor Darren Brooks, who recently returned. Bold and Beautiful as Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks).
General Hospital: Serena Baldwin’s Connections
So, if you don’t remember Serena Baldwin, let’s talk about her because she has an interesting screen connection. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was his mother and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is his biological father. Dominique Stanton was Serena’s biological mother and Dominique was suffering from back pain, and she wanted to leave the child for her husband Scotty.
So, Lucy acted as her surrogate and after Dominique’s death, we saw Lucy playing a motherly role in Serena’s life ever since. And of course, Lucy was also turned on again, and Scotty. And with Serena coming back, it would be great if Scotty came back. I love Kin Shriner. But for now, her fake mother, Lucy, is still very active in Port Charles. More importantly, there is a half-brother that Serena does not know and has yet to meet, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). They have the same mother, Dominique, but her biological father, Mac Scorpio (John J York).
We know that Cody is a few years older than Serena, and their mother gave Cody up to raise her to protect her. And it was a few years ago when she came to town and found out that Mac was her father, and they started a relationship. So, it would be very interesting to see Serena get to know Cody. Therefore, Kelly Krueger began filming scenes as Serena on Monday, June 8. She will make her debut on the screen during the July sweep. Actress Kelly Krueger said she is honored and excited to play the role of Serena.
General Hospital: Kirsten Storms Steps Back from Maxie Jones Role
Okay, now let’s talk about Kirsten Storms. He only has 10 episodes as Maxie Jones this year and we’re almost halfway through the year. We last saw Kirsten Storms on March 13. Maxie’s absence has been glaring, especially with Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) evil twin. And we leaked here before it was confirmed that Kirsten would be taking a break as Maxie.
That was due to a brain aneurysm and her country leading to Nashville because her ex-husband Brandon Barash, who also used to sing. General Hospital as Johnny DiMera, was moving there with their daughter Harper. And that made Kirsten close to her best friend Emmy Ryland who lives in St.

General Hospital: Kirsten’s Real Life Challenges
Now, luckily, Kirsten’s doctor decided to stop. She said they can’t wait to see how her brain aneurysm goes, but she’s still on soap opera level in her real life while taking a break from playing Maxie. We know that Kirsten reported that her apartment was broken into and as a result, her phone was broken into. He showed security footage of someone at his door at odd hours of the morning.
And then came the conflicting news that Brandon Barash had taken out a restraining order on her access to their daughter. Kirsten has been open in the past about her mental health journey speaking to Maurice Benard on his mood podcast about her struggles with bipolar one and now she is clarifying her condition as Maxie Jones General Hospital.
Kirsten Storms said, “About what’s in my future there General Hospital worried,” he said, “given what’s been going on, I can’t say I’ll feel comfortable going back to Los Angeles and going back to work. This was an eye-opening experience about the downsides of my job. My daughter for the rest of my life. He is and always will be my number one priority.”
So, there you have it. It seems pretty clear that he’s moving on from playing Maxie. So, we might end up getting a repeat sometime if Kirsten Storms doesn’t change her mind about staying away from LA. And of course, the storyline needs Maxie’s return. So, they have filled in for the actress before. Maybe they will do that now. It is a sin. He is a great actor. She was beautiful too Days of Our Lives as Belle Black. And I loved Kirsten Dirty Soap back in the day. However, prioritizing your health and that of your child, those seem like good decisions for him to make right now. So, let’s hope everything goes well for him.
General Hospital: More Outings and Broadcast Updates
Now, let’s talk about other ways out of this General Hospital ins and outs update. First, in case you missed it, Marc Forget came out as Pascal Leveque. And it looks like Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) may have her last date this Friday, June 12. Actress Kate Mansi said make sure you watch that date to learn about Kristina’s future. And then in a recent episode of GH, he told Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) that he was leaving Port Charles in a few days. But Kristina still has to tell her parents, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). But Kristina has both of those conversations this week. We know that since General Hospital the robbers. So, I think Friday may be his last day. It’s not completely confirmed yet.
We also got Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) who is also filming, and she should be on screen soon because she’s been back for a few weeks. And Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is back on Monday, June 1 to film. So his first air date should also come during the July sweep. However, our publisher said we may not see Jason in Port Charles for a while, although he will be back. General Hospital. There is talk that Burton’s first few weeks may have been Jason in Indonesia where WSB sent him.
It’s like when we got Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) when he was re-released. If you remember when he first played, he was held and tortured by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey). I think they were on the ship and maybe later in the camp, but I know they were on the ship. Anyway, we have a new hunk coming to the Port Charles scene. Aussie actor Dean Geyer makes his July debut as Tristan Roberts, a character named after Robert Scorpio’s character Tristan Rogers. The latest conversation I heard is that he might be playing doctor.
And we have a new Scout Cain coming. They remade and aged Drew’s daughter, making her a teenager. Kayden Tokarski takes over for Cosette Abinante. Scout was born to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Drew in 2017, so he must be nine years old. The last actress was 12 years old, so they raised her a little. And now they age faster by seven more years. He will be 16 years old when the new actor steps into the role.
