The FBI is investigating after shots were fired at the windows of an Arizona US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility earlier this week, with video from FOX 10 Phoenix showing the damage after one or more unknown people fired multiple shots into the building.
The FBI’s Phoenix Field Office said it is investigating the shooting, which happened Tuesday afternoon at the Enforcement and Removal Operations building on North Central Avenue in Phoenix.
According to the bureau, one or more unknown people fired rounds that hit the outside of the building.
No injuries were reported.

ICE sources told Fox News that multiple bullet holes could be seen in the building’s windows. FOX 10 Phoenix crews also captured video from the scene showing the apparent damage.
“The FBI Phoenix office is investigating a shooting that occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the Enforcement and Removal Operations building on North Central Ave. in Phoenix, AZ,” the FBI said in a statement. “According to the FBI report, one or more unknown persons fired rounds that struck the exterior of various parts of the building. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.”
The shooting comes as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that ICE will require every arrest team to have an officer wearing a body camera, citing what it says has been a sharp increase in attacks on ICE agents.
DHS said raids on ICE officers are up more than 1,300 percent, and raids on motor vehicles are up more than 3,300 percent.

“ICE will ensure that every arrest team has someone wearing a body camera,” a DHS spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News. “Ensuring that all of our ICE law enforcement officers are equipped with body cameras across the country is a top priority for DHS — especially given the increase in attacks on law enforcement, including a more than 1,300% increase in assaults on them and a 3,300% increase in assaults on vehicles.”
“This is especially necessary because the media and local politicians are always spreading scandals about our law enforcement.”

The FBI is asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact investigators by calling 1-800-CALL-FBI or submitting a tip to tips.fbi.gov.
