Below Deck Nathan Threatens to Burn Luke with Dirty Sheets

Below Deck Mediterranean‘s Nathan Gallagher you finally got that Luke Brumer he stained his sheets with his bodily fluids – and the bosun didn’t take it well.

During Monday’s episode of the show, July 13, Nathan caught a cold after sleeping in a dirty bed for three days without realizing it. Until it came Genevieve Lillie he told Cooper Dawson who told Joe Bradley who reported to his boss that Nathan was holding his breath about what happened.

Luke expressed his frustration with Joe by telling Nathan. The lead manager defended his decision by pointing out that it was a “health issue” that Nathan needed to know about. Nathan overhears their argument and steps in to fire Luke.

“Actually, I get angry when I think about it too much. It’s disrespectful,” said Nathan. “I’m not kidding, do you want me to go to Captain Sandy and tell him about it?”

As viewers saw earlier this season, Luke met Gen at the apartment he shared with Nathan. They went down to sleep on Nathan’s bed and Luke finished on the bed sheets, without telling Nathan. Even worse, Luke did not change Nathan’s sheets and continued to let Nathan sleep on the dirty bed.

“It’s true that Luke hasn’t said anything about this in three days,” Nathan explained of the “disrespectful” behavior. “He had a chance to tell me – and the fact that he hasn’t told me and he’s been around the boat and everyone’s talking about it. That’s what upsets me.”

He went on to say: “That’s disrespectful because you don’t respect me, now if you continue your work it won’t end bro, if you annoy me a little it will be over.” [heading out] and your bags are packed.”

Luke was shocked at the prospect of being fired. “I can’t believe I would lose my job because of something like this,” he added.

In a preview for next week’s episode, Nathan informs Sandy of what happened, telling her, “I wish I’d never heard that. That crosses all lines. That’s disrespectful.”

Joe just got into the drama before it continued to escalate on screen.

“It certainly comes down to a security risk as well [an issue] with cleanliness and hygiene,” she exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. “Because it’s literally under contract.”

Joe noted that “it’s possible that someone could get fired” for that, adding, “In terms of what you sign in your agreement for hygiene purposes, it’s possible. Will you go? I can’t say. But it has happened in the past. Well, I hope not, but it depends on how far you take it.”
