Love Island USA Brings Back Big Food Challenges With Fish, Beans

It wouldn’t be a season Love Island USA if the Islanders didn’t do a challenge that required them to spit food in their mouths.
In Friday’s episode, July 10, the Islanders were directed to a restaurant where they were told to look for things like sardines, baked beans, scrambled eggs, mushroom soup and more. They would have to measure each item by having the couple use their mouths – and spit it from one person’s mouth to the other and then the scale.
This led to an exchange of fluid with fluid in the stomach which resulted in some almost spilling. The theft of the birds continued with sugary foods like mayo and ketchup, which revolted their fellow Islanders – and viewers watched at home.
Love Island USA have become known for their food-themed challenges that rely on Islanders passing things from mouth to mouth. Season 7, for example, chose milk and was spat from mouth to mouth in one of the most infamous episodes.
After many weeks of communication, separation and amazing moments in the villa, the love test will end on Sunday, July 12. The current couples will be divided into the final four, which America will vote for.
Similar to previous seasons, each couple will get a chance to go out on their own with their date. They will then decide if they want to live together and write each other’s “vows” before finding out who is crowned the winning couple.
The envelope ceremony will take place on the final night, where the two people who received the highest number of votes from the public are given two envelopes: one for each partner. One envelope contains $100,000, and the other is empty. The partner with the $100,000 envelope chooses to share the money with his partner as a test of loyalty and commitment — or to go all out as a prize choice over love.

I Love Island The franchise started in the UK in 2002 before expanding worldwide with various spinoffs, including Love Island USA to the Peacock. Each season, a different group of single Islanders are challenged to go in pairs to live in the show’s luxury mansion for a $100,000 prize.
Season 8 had its fair share of drama – both while filming in Fiji and off-screen. At the beginning of this season, Vasana Montgomery he was cut from the show after he reappeared on social media showing him using profanity.
Casa Amor bomb Alannah Keyser he was kicked out again this season after facing criticism over a resurfaced video allegedly showing him using a racial slur.
Similar issues arose during season 7, with Yulissa Escobar leaving dates in the experience last year after clips of him using racial slurs in a podcast went viral.
Season 7 Cierra Ortega he also faced backlash for using profanity in his posts that resurfaced on social media. He was evicted from the villa and later apologized for his past behavior.
New episodes of Love Island USA are released six days a week – except Wednesday – on Peacock.
