Joshua Jackson Holds Hands With Model Olivia Burgess in NYC

Joshua Jackson I enjoyed a beautiful day in New York City with the model Olivia Burgess.
According to photos obtained by TMZ, Jackson, 47, was seen walking with Burgess on Sunday, June 7. The two were all smiles as they held hands while walking around the Big Apple.
Jackson and Burgess kept their outings rare, with Dawson’s Creek alum rocking a linen button-down shirt and matching pants paired with sneakers and sunglasses. The model, who walked the runway for fashion brand Jean Paul Gaultier, wore a black tank top, gray Bermuda shorts and mules. He chose the dirty climb.
Jackson and Burgess’ date comes shortly after the actor made headlines for reconnecting with Katie Holmes. The former costars – and the original actors – have reunited to star in their new movie Happy Hourswhich Holmes, 47, wrote and directed. The two have worked together Dawson’s Creek from 1998 until 2003, where they portrayed frenemies-turned-lovers Pacey Witter and Joey Potter. While filming the popular youth drama, the two fell in love about a year after the premiere.
Last summer, Holmes and Jackson were spotted filming in New York City together. It later turned out that they were working together Happy Hours. The film, billed as part of a trilogy, follows a couple who wonder if their strange connection is worth a second chance.
On the same day Jackson was spotted with Burgess, she and Holmes attended the Tribeca Film Festival together, standing together and holding hands while on the red carpet. At one point, Jackson talked about his connection with Holmes after nearly three decades of friendship.
“The time we spent together when we were young is precious to both of us,” he told a reporter in a social media clip. “And again [it] it is like a personal and professional relationship that is important in my life.”
Jackson also applauded Holmes for his creativity and the work he put into Happy Hours, which premiered at the festival.
“We had talked about it years ago, and then – I don’t think he gives himself enough credit – because then he created this great space for us both to come back and work together and tell a great story,” Jackson explained. “It’s a hopeful story, a real person’s story and for me, I was humbled and thrilled to have the opportunity to come back and share this space with you after all these years.”
Holmes, for his part, added that his friendship and working relationship with Jackson is “very important.”
“I want to do right by Josh. I respect him a lot. So I wanted it to be right,” he said on Sunday. We’ve talked a lot about doing something again, but we never knew what.
