Host Avery Woods Teases ‘Drama’ in Mormon Wives OC

The facilitator Avery Woods he is ready for his life to be fully realized in the future Secret Lives of Mormon Wives the spinoff is set in Orange County.
“It’s reality TV, there’s going to be drama,” Woods, 31, teased about the upcoming show during an exclusive interview with Us Weeklywhile developing his relationship with Olive & June. “There are different personalities and different beliefs and opinions.”
Before Woods made her debut on the latest Hulu show, she teamed up with Olive & June to launch a new 12-nail collaboration designed for everyday life as a mom and entrepreneur.
“I feel very blessed [at] this is the point in my career that I am very selective about who I work with and I don’t want to put my name on something to get a quick buck. I want to design a collection with a company that feels very authentic. This was perfect because I used Olive & June every day,” explains Woods. “So when they reached out, it just seemed like a no-brainer, and it was amazing to work with them.”
Regarding the show, Woods explained that the spinoff is “really cool and unique” because some of the characters are “still active in the church,” while “some people were raised Mormon and left the church” and others “were never Mormon, but we have very close people in our lives who are part of the church so we know a lot about it.”
“It’s really like the community that I felt like I grew up in and followed a lot of the same things as girls,” Woods said. “I got married at 21, had my first child at 23. I met my husband at 18. That was just like the culture we grew up in, but I will say it’s really cool to see the transition of girls who are part of the church. And then there’s like girls in LA who are not part of the church.” (Woods is married David as of 2016.)

He continued, “We can’t all be very different, but I think the most exciting thing about all of us getting together is that we’ve started to understand and become more open about how each of us lives our lives, because we all make different choices and decisions, and we raise our children differently, we dress differently, we talk differently. It will be great for people to see that.”
Woods has been announced as one of the cast members Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County in April, along with other California-based moms McCall Dapron, Aspyn Ovard, Bobbi Althoff, Salomé Andrea, Ashleigh Pease, Madison Bontempo again Chandler Higginson.
