Latto Appears to Give Birth, Welcomes First Child at 21

Latto looks like she welcomed her first child with another rapper 21 Cruelty.
The “Big Energy” rapper, 28, shared an emotional Instagram video on Monday, May 18, documenting her pregnancy, which she first revealed in March, from when she first announced the news to her friends at five weeks pregnant until she gave birth.
The video ends with the screen fading to black and Latto being encouraged to “push” as hospital equipment can be heard moving behind him.
Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Latto and 21 Savage for confirmation.
Latto – whose real name is Alyssa Michelle Stephens – wrote the caption, “BIG MAMA 5/29,” referring to her fourth studio album due out on May 29. Latto announced her pregnancy back in March when she unveiled the album’s cover art, which showed her showing off her baby bump.
In Monday’s video, Latto is seen at various stages of her pregnancy, including an ultrasound scan at 13 weeks and shooting the cover of her new album.
“I was already thinking about composing my album The Great Mother then I found out about you and just … everything went well,” Latto was heard explaining in a loud voice.
The video also features cameos from 21 Savage, 33, and famous friends including Usher again Sexy Redwho seems to be guessing the child’s sex.
In a final prenatal video post, Latto, who is 37 weeks pregnant, notes that she is “full term” and “any day now.”
“I’m ready to meet my baby. I’m not leaving when my baby gets here. Like, I need a million dollar show because I don’t want to leave the house,” she said with a laugh.
Latto first confirmed her relationship with 21 Savage – whose real name is Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph – in September 2025 amid long-running speculation about the couple.
In a video published by TMZ, Latto was asked if she was “tired” of rumors that she was dating 21 Savage. He replied, “No.
Latto previously played down speculation about his love life in an interview with Apple Music Bro Darden in August 2024.
“The Internet knows no evil. Let’s start there. But I like to be private. I think it’s no one’s business,” he said. “Like, listen to music and you’ll know what you need to know.”
