TJ Houshmandzadeh’s Claim About Vrabel, The Russini Controversy

Since i Mike Vrabel again Dianna Russini scandal continues to add more pages to the quarterback’s playbook, an NFL veteran has weighed in on the debate—and has a hot opinion.
Former Pro Bowl wide receiver TJ Houshmandzadeh he saw i TMZ The report of Wednesday, May 6, shows physical evidence that the couple rented the boat while Russini, 43, was pregnant in 2021. Now, he thinks there may be more to the story.
“This was not dating. That’s his girlfriend, they were dating,” Houshmandzadeh, 48, said during an appearance on the YouTube show “Speakeasy” on Wednesday. “That’s the decision he made, and he made it.”
He went on to say that “it wouldn’t surprise me” if the child “could” belong to Vrabel, 50.
The alleged yacht charter took place one year after Russini married her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt. Vrabel is married to his wife, Jensince 1999.
Russini and Goldschmidt have two children. She was heavily pregnant when reports revealed that she and Vrabel chartered a private boat in Putnam County, Tennessee for two to three hours with no other passengers.

Page Six on April 7 that showed them holding hands and hugging at an Arizona resort. Since then, photos have surfaced of them kissing in a bar in 2020 and together in a casino in 2024.
Russini and Vrabel both downplayed the controversy at first, saying the photos were innocent. Russini, however, later resigned from his position Athletic amid an internal investigation into the scandal and Vrabel took time away from the team during the NFL Draft to seek counseling.
Through it all, Vrabel has maintained the public support of his players, including the quarterback Drake Mayewho called his coach a “great man” a few hours before the news broke that he had been hired by a boat.
“I mean, he’s our head coach,” Maye, 23, told The Associated Press on Wednesday following the Truist Championship Pro-Am in Charlotte. “I think he did a great job talking to us and sharing it with us. I’m looking forward to getting back to work and being prepared.”
The defender added, “I know he has a good mind … I like playing for him.”
