Allie Eklund Won’t Talk To Steven McBee Jr. After the Breakup

Allie Eklund closed the book on her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Steven McBee Jr. after accusing him of cheating on her at the Stagecoach Music Festival last month.

“I have no intention of talking to him again,” Eklund, 29, said TMZ Wednesday, May 6, I’m in Los Angeles for work. “We’re not just talking, there’s nothing else to say.”

The model said she “tried to encourage” McBee, 33, to “get help in the past” for her anger issues “and he refused.”

Eklund noted that he’s “glad he’s looking for it now,” referring to it The McBee dynasty the latter star’s voluntary stay in retreat due to their split in April. (Eklund denied the allegations of cheating after McBee accused him of having sex with a man at a concert on the flight home. The man also denied it.)

When it comes to his mental health, Eklund told the outlet on Wednesday, “I’ve definitely had better days, but I’m still standing there.”

The promoter shared that he was “spending a lot of time with my family and my support system, so I’m very thankful for them.”

Eklund then teased that “next” for him was “a martini” as he was in West Hollywood for his birthday dinner.

“A martini is next for me. Maybe a few martinis,” he said with a laugh.

Eklund’s decision to completely cut McBee out of his life comes just weeks after the rancher publicly accused him of cheating on Stagecoach, which ran from April 24 to April 26.

“I still don’t know what happened,” McBee said in a since-deleted Instagram video from April 27. “I just know it was hand-holding, grinding, dancing, getting drunk at the party.”

McBee said in a series of Instagram stories that after moving from California to Missouri, she received “two phone calls” about Eklund’s infidelity. He also revealed that he had video evidence that he was comfortable with “one guy at the gym” and “getting drunk and cheating at a party.”

Eklund, who began dating McBee in the fall of 2025, denied the allegations in a statement on his Instagram Story on April 27.

“Posting everything online before we’ve even spoken is very disappointing and unfair, as I’ve defended Steven many times during our relationship,” she said. “I chose not to answer [Steven] immediately because he has a history of verbally abusing me when he’s in a bad mood, and I thought it would be more appropriate to have a private, formal conversation once the emotions have calmed down.”

Eklund then shared a series of messages McBee allegedly sent her in a fit of rage, including one she called a “hook of death.”

McBee accused Eklund of taking “everyone’s breasts out at Stagecoach” and called her an “idiot” before texting her to come get her stuff from her place.

Eklund, for his part, noted in his Instagram Story that despite McBee’s actions, he just wanted to move on and leave the relationship in the past.

“I’m not looking to escalate things any further. I’d like this to end here,” Eklund concluded. “I have said what I feel is necessary to respond to his actions and I plan to take time to process and move forward.”

The next day, the source was told specifically Us Weekly that although McBee and Eklund had “only been dating for about seven months,” the pair talked about “getting engaged this year.”

An insider noted that they were “very serious” before the Stagecoach scandal.

Meanwhile, McBee issued another statement on April 29 apologizing for the “cruel and degrading” messages he sent Eklund. “No level of personal trauma and betrayal justifies the language I used and I am ashamed of those messages,” he wrote.

McBee was told only Us Friday, May 1, that he had checked into a trauma shelter and was accountable for his actions to Eklund.

“I’m embarrassed, I’m disappointed for myself, my family,” McBee said. “I took it badly, without a doubt.”

Bravo admitted that he has “an anger problem,” and the six-day retreat will help him break the “family cycle of trauma” he’s going through.

“The anger, the high emotions that I have, is something that I have experienced growing up, I hate to say that it is genetic or passed down but I saw it growing up,” explained McBee. And I don’t want to say it was normal because I know that’s not right. But it’s harder to break the cycle than I thought.”

Season 3 of The McBee Dynasty: The Real American Cowboys will premiere this summer on Bravo and will be available for streaming the next day on Peacock.
