Pettis’ comments came during an appearance on the show “In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele,” where he began to reveal that the two were in love.
“I mean, my ex is now in the NBA. When we were dating, he was in high school and college. I broke up with him before he entered the league because he was mentally ill,” Pettis said. “I think most athletes are not good partners, but I won’t rule it out because I like what they do.
Porter, on the other hand, explained how he and Pettis met, praising the Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry.
“He and I met because Stephen Curry, it was my birthday, and I was at his camp,” he explained. “He posted a selfie saying, happy birthday, Mike. He called me out on Instagram. I got a lot of followers from Stephen Curry. This was back when Instagram started. I think he saw that and DM’d saying, happy birthday. I didn’t see it for a long time because I was getting a lot of DMs. “Then I came across his page, he looked at my DMs, and he sent me. So we started DMing and talking. “
