Paige Spiranac has social media talking about her latest golf outfit, an Iowa fan is baring her brains out of crab hash.

Let’s get the week rolling here at Screencaps with a look at Paige Spiranac who just finished the weekend driving a golf startup event called the Grass League. It is called “the world’s first top 3 golf league.”

Did I watch anything in this game? Not because I have a yard, kids, a baseball team to coach and a marriage to take care of, but I’m sure many of you have been stuck in the act. From what I can tell, Grass League brought Paige to do what Paige does – influence.

“Can’t wait for the next event,” Paige wrote on Instagram Sunday night after the winning team of Austin Quicker and Tyler Weworski. shot two rounds of 23-under scores to win $60,000.

When is the next event? SEPTEMBER! Now I just need to find a way to get Millennial Chris B. to Bowling Green. This guy bought new Mizuno irons and was 9-OVER Sunday on the US Open qualifying course. Can two readers of this column compete for the Grass League title? BUCKLE UP.

REMINDER: There is now a landing page for Screencaps content

I told you guys that the team was working on the landing page and the team delivered it late last week. Here is the page where you will be able to find post Screencaps from the Fox/OutKick merger. https://www.foxnews.com/category/outkick/outkick-culture/screencaps

Well, I’ve now picked up the Thursday Night Mowing League email three times. Each time, the box is completely full. It amazes me how many of you responsible adults have sent a self-addressed stamped envelope with TNML stickers.

Also check out the polos we have on sale this season. It’s very good. This will be your go-to polo for scramble tournaments.

– Shawn from Canby, Oregon writes: Three straight days of technical success! Good work. For me, it actually works better NOW than before. No hang-ups or errors in Insta embeds. Also, Kirkland beer, brewed in Bend, OR is one of the few good things to come out here, and thankfully it’s not an IPA.

– Dr. J emails: Love Screencaps community. Thanks for getting us started and going. He is out of town to open the TNML season. I humbly request a favor from the Commission. The article linked by USA Today is great for parents of young children involved in sports.

Rec baseball season starts this week and I might be down and caught up from last week’s e-scooter crash.

As I wrote late last week, Screencaps Jr.’s friend, Lucas, was in an e-scooter accident in front of our house that sent him skidding across the street. When Ms. Screencaps found the boy, he was very beaten. Fast forward to Saturday morning. We had our final set up before tonight’s game leading up to opening night this Thursday (yes, the opening day of TNML; I’ll have to adjust my work schedule to shave, it’s my job).

Lucas couldn’t throw a baseball Saturday morning. His wrist hurts. His forehead is sore. His shoulder is raised. His routine was over before it started. Men, we are in a difficult situation. I have kids who miss football games. I had one kid out of the first three games, I think, because of a holiday in India or something like that. And now my long reliever who can eat up innings faces a trip to the DL.

That leaves us with ONE a catcher who was also going to be one of my pitchers. If we can go .500, I might deserve the NW Ohio Coach of the Year Award. I have nine kids committed to playing in tonight’s scrimmage. That’s a big relief. Thankfully, I don’t have to ask the 5th and 6th grade league to find a replacement before the year starts.

Bonus ball content: On Saturday morning, I asked the kids who watched baseball on Friday night. Any baseball. Of the nine children, one raised his hand. Four raised their hands when I asked who played video games. At the end of practice, I challenged the boys to watch at least one inning of baseball over the weekend. Tonight, I will see if any of them have taken up the challenge.

The Hulk Hogan documentary may make you cry at the end

What an ending. I won’t spoil it for those of you still working on this four-part series. What I will say is that eventually, those of us who grew up with Hogan in the WWF days will start thinking about our own mortality. It’s an emotional ending to say the least.

Have you ever received an “excuse me” card saying you weren’t invited to a wedding?

I won’t believe this is true until one of you tells me you got something like this announcing you weren’t invited to the wedding. And are you expected to send a gift? You guys tell me what the current state of the wedding industry is like. Is this normal? Email: joe.kinsey@outkick.com

Personally, I’m happy for people getting married, but unless you’re very far from the chain as a family, I’m not coming to your wedding. Mrs. Screencaps is not a big fan of attending weddings. I couldn’t care less. Trust me, you don’t need to send a message saying I’m not invited. I am not offended at all.

The art of going back through baseball card collections after 30 years

– Screen legend Indy Daryl enters: It’s been a while since I logged in, but I’ve been lurking in the background, reading and making sure I’m keeping tabs. I seem to remember recently that your kids started buying baseball cards. When my mom was cleaning out her and my dad’s condo a few months ago after he passed away, she came across a box that I thought had been lost in America’s trash heaps.

But look, you got my card collection!! Such a fun trip down memory lane. I’m sure it’s useless, but it sure was fun to remember to buy a pack, prepare new ones, and decide which ones fit in their plastic case, and which ones fit in the book, and which ones just got “the bag.”

I hope that in 30 years your children will be able to look back and have the same fond memories! As I was looking through my collection, I saw a card that cracked me up! The name is Craig Biggio, but what I see is a young Tom Brady with a batting helmet. The similarity is crazy!

Shop at Dunham’s Sports

Are you sick of Dick’s Sportswear and have to ask a college kid to go get shoes in the back and it takes 15 minutes to get the shoes. Go to Dunham’s if you’re in town. They threw all the shoes on the racks. It’s complete. Also, they sell INCREDIBLY patriotic hats.

##################################

That’s it this morning. The sun is out. We might actually get a baseball game tonight. And the birds are chirping their hearts out. Hopefully we will have a better Monday with less stress than last Monday.

Remember, May starts this week. Let’s end April strong and go into the start of summer on a high note. Get out there and dominate the work week.
