Loyal dogs, killer crews and world-ending disasters – just another full month on Hulu.
The Disney-owned broadcaster is airing some of the biggest and most acclaimed movies in April, and Watch With Us has selected only the best to stream this weekend.
At the top of our list are two very different movies of 2025: the killer satire There Is No Other Option and an unappealing horror image Good boy.

‘No Other Choice’ (2025)
Everyone knows that the job market is tough, but for Man-su (Lee Byung-hun), it’s killer – literally. After being laid off from a middle management position at a paper company, a fifty-something family man struggles to find the right job – any job, for that matter. That’s why when a potential spot opens up, he pursues it by eliminating the competition by any means necessary. But will Man-su’s new killer conscience save his family from financial trouble?
One of the most acclaimed movies of 2025, There Is No Other Option a dark comedy from South Korea that can touch anyone in the world. With rising unemployment and applying for jobs an almost Kafkaesque chore today, Man-su’s dilemma is understandable, even as he revs up the saw to dismantle his rivals. The film perfectly balances its social commentary and absurd comedy, with Squid game veteran Byung-hun gives an outstanding, Golden Globe-nominated performance as a man with increasingly few options left in life.

‘The Good Boy’ (2025)

They both moved from New York City to the country after Todd’s grandfather died. Alone in their late grandfather’s secluded place, the two hear strange noises at night. Todd chases them away like wild animals in the woods, but Indy soon finds someone – or something – to live with. Can Indy convince his owner that they are both in serious danger?
Good boy thriller film – the first horror film told from the perspective of a cute patootie pooch. That alone is reason enough to watch it, but it’s also a low-budget horror film about things that go bump in the night. It’s not hyperbole to say that a new star is born with Indy, who commands the screen so well that she makes Lassie and Benji look like clueless puppies in comparison. He carries the image on four legs, and he does Good boy it’s a scary horror movie that you’ll remember long after you’ve watched it.

‘The Day After Tomorrow’ (2004)
The world is approaching a climate crisis, but no one seems to be paying attention. That doesn’t stop paleoclimatologist Jack Hall (Dennis Quaid) in sharing his opinion with anyone who will listen that a second Ice Age is coming and coming fast. As hurricanes increase and temperatures drop around the world, many people are finally realizing that the world they are used to will soon end. That includes Jack’s son, Sam (Jake Gyllenhaal), who finds himself in a life-or-death situation when a massive flood traps him and his friends in the New York Public Library. Jack cannot save the world, but he will do everything in his power to save his son from a watery grave.

Directed by disaster film expert Roland Emmerich, the day after tomorrow it takes a serious subject and turns it into a source of action-packed spectacle. Global warming isn’t a typical summer blockbuster theme, but that’s what makes the film stand out – for all its silliness, it conveys an important message. Quaid and Gyllenhaal are convincing as father and son brought together at the end of the world, and the twelve-year-old special effects are still impressive today.
