Bridgerton concluded the 4th season with the decisions of Nicholas Braimbridge again Tony Cooper after their death.
The second half of the show returned on Thursday, February 26, with a post-credit scene and tribute, which read, “In loving memory of Nicholas Braimbridge, Tony Cooper.”
According to a GoFundMe campaign by Bridgerton’s artistic director Alison GartshoreBraimbridge died in May 2025. The cause of death was not determined Bridgertonwho was a local artist Bridgerton and its output, Queen Charlotte.
“He was a skilled finisher best known for finishing marques and wood grain, his experience built up over many years working with top designers and eventually in the film and TV industries,” Gartshore wrote on the fundraising page.
He continued: “I worked closely with Nick and he was an integral part of our Art department team, and he was a fun, charming, funny man – a real gent. Everyone he met loved him and we as a team are all saddened by his passing, he will be greatly missed.”
